Soak City is a decent water park, although a bit on the smaller side compared to Wild Rivers or Raging Waters. There are about 3 areas with big slides, 2 small kid areas, and one wave pool. There's a giftshop and 2 food facilities. I go here every summer with the summer camp group I work for. There are a few things they need to improve on.
First and most important, the bathrooms are literally disgusting. The first one I went into smelled so strongly of urine that I could barely breathe. And this was at 10:30 in the morning, right after the park had opened and barely anyone had used it. They don't have that rubber matt stuff on the floor, so the floors are wet, slippery, and black from dirt. The second restroom I used, same problem with the floors, but this one smelled so strongly of bleach that again, I felt like I was going to suffocate. They are so gross!
Another complaint.. there isn't enough shade here. There are a few awnings but they get claimed quickly, so all the other chairs are out in the scorching sun.
The food is expensive and the lines are long, but that's typical for places like this. They need more food options besides just the two.
OTHERWISE, they have a lot of lifeguards present who do a good job and are really keeping an eye on people. The Beach House is fun (especially the bucket). I like the 50's music playing. Admission is a good deal. I think if they improved their restrooms it would be a lot better!
