I bought a Groupon for a class here and they filled up super quick!  When I called to schedule my class the owner was super cool and quickly offered to honor my Groupon for a later class time.  I felt like a valued customer and the service was OUTSTANDING!  I dragged my 18 year old 'uber cool' son in with me and he had fun picking out yarn for me to make things for him.

This is a beautiful store. The layout, color and feel of the place is intoxicating to a crafty nerd such as myself.

If you are a serious needleworker, this is the place to be. It would be safe to say that you will find things here that you cannot at other shops: patterns, rare and gorgeous types of yarn, books, tools and coffee! Why not have the caffeine shakes while you knit, eh? While I was shopping, I also noticed occupied tables of either knitting groups or possibly classes that were happening.

As mentioned in other reviews, yes, the price is a little steep. But you get what you pay for! They definitely seem to carry the more luxurious types of materials. I wish I could afford to shop here more often. :(

This store has a lot of charm and it shows. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and all the couches and chairs around the worktables were full of women working on projects. There is a great selection of yarns - I even spotted yak fiber (from Colorado yaks, even!), which was a first for me.

It is kind of pricey, though, so you need to be willing to splurge when you visit. I mean, the yarn is gorgeous, but you're definitely paying for it. Also, the woman who attempted to help my friend had a bit of trouble understanding she was a novice and kept asking questions that my friend couldn't answer. You don't ask a novice if she'd prefer acrylic or wool blends. You don't ask a novice what sort of gauge she's wanting for her project. It just seemed like the saleslady didn't know how to handle the situation.

It could just be that this place is more suited for advanced knitters. In fact, the more I think about it, I do believe that might be it.

Very nice yarn shop in a very nice area of town.  Just a gorgeous interior, with wood paneling and gorgeous fixtures.  Used to be an old grocery store.

Nice selection of books and patterns, helpful staff and an espresso bar!

This shop had more table room than just about any yarn shop I've ever been in (and I've been in a bunch).

Their yarn selection tends to be higher end, so bring your credit card.

This is a very charming yarn store.  They have beautiful yarns in a ton of different types of fibers.  I wish that they had a bit of a bigger selection, they didn't have any white sock yarn.  But I think that if they had any more it would feel over full and stuffy.  It is beautifully done inside, and even though Gerri looked at me like I was a little strange (and I admit I am), I was still pleased with the service.  The prices are a little more than Hobby Lobby or Michaels, but you also get a much better quality yarn, a better shopping experience, and you are helping your local stores.  I was SUPER impressed with the fact that they took the yarn I bought and spun it into a ball for me.  That made me very happy.

Beautiful selection of yarns!  The perfect level of customer service for me, greeted, offered help, made self available for help without breathing down neck.  What more could I ask for!  Also just a wonderful owner (I think she was the owner...) who made me feel very welcome in the shop.  I will be returning for more yarn!!

I see that many people have said that the yarn pricing is pricey but I don't think that at all and I'm a graduate student. This isn't your Jo Ann fabric or Hobby Lobby. You get what you pay for and the yarns are gorgeous!

I have to admit that every time I go into a yarn store, I feel a bit intimidated and a lot of the places I have been, the people just simply ignore me. Not here. I felt very welcomed and both Beth and Gerri have been kind to me...Gerri even got out of her class to help me find yarn for an afgan I'm making. I like how warm and friendly this place is compared to the other yarn stores I've been to.

I took a class here and loved it. Very helpful in learning to knit on double pointed needles and making cables. Love this place!

Cozy yarn store with a solid selection of quality yarns and accessories.  They have a coffee bar.  The staff are very helpful.  They stay open until 8pm Tuesday - Thursday and encourage folks to sit and knit awhile.

Warm and inviting shop with friendly staff, even to a novice needleworker.  Nice yarn selection, spacious store, and they even serve espresso drinks.  I'll be back!
