This is a VERY charming shop in Old Town with a great, friendly staff and owner.  The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is because I prefer a larger selection of yarns.  The size of this place doesn't lend itself to that, but what they do carry is absolutely beautiful and a little harder to find (this ain't no Hobby Lobby folks), and I love that they have a small espresso bar as well.

*They are not open Mondays.

Amazing atmosphere, prices a bit high, but when you're used to Michaels and Hobby Lobby being the only other places in the area to get yarn, it's definitely worth it. The additional coffee shop doesn't hurt at all, either! Great service, the lady that helped me was super nice and even joked with me when I told her I was in there because my dog chewed up my other pair of circulars.

This store has a lot of charm and it shows. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and all the couches and chairs around the worktables were full of women working on projects. There is a great selection of yarns - I even spotted yak fiber (from Colorado yaks, even!), which was a first for me.

It is kind of pricey, though, so you need to be willing to splurge when you visit. I mean, the yarn is gorgeous, but you're definitely paying for it. Also, the woman who attempted to help my friend had a bit of trouble understanding she was a novice and kept asking questions that my friend couldn't answer. You don't ask a novice if she'd prefer acrylic or wool blends. You don't ask a novice what sort of gauge she's wanting for her project. It just seemed like the saleslady didn't know how to handle the situation.

It could just be that this place is more suited for advanced knitters. In fact, the more I think about it, I do believe that might be it.

Very nice yarn shop in a very nice area of town.  Just a gorgeous interior, with wood paneling and gorgeous fixtures.  Used to be an old grocery store.

Nice selection of books and patterns, helpful staff and an espresso bar!

This shop had more table room than just about any yarn shop I've ever been in (and I've been in a bunch).

Their yarn selection tends to be higher end, so bring your credit card.

Beautiful selection of yarns!  The perfect level of customer service for me, greeted, offered help, made self available for help without breathing down neck.  What more could I ask for!  Also just a wonderful owner (I think she was the owner...) who made me feel very welcome in the shop.  I will be returning for more yarn!!

Cozy yarn store with a solid selection of quality yarns and accessories.  They have a coffee bar.  The staff are very helpful.  They stay open until 8pm Tuesday - Thursday and encourage folks to sit and knit awhile.
