I had almost the identical experience to Dave W's. Grumpy, grumpy, and no apologies. Didn't get no stinkin car wash, and they tried to rip me on "added" service. All I wanted was the tires installed and balanced. I had to fight for just that.

Ordered a set of tires from TireTack for my Xterra and had them shipped here. Upon receipt of them, Kniesel's promptly called me to set up an appointment for installation. Having read some glowing reviews of them on the TireRack website, I had them go ahead and schedule a front end alignment and 30k service as well.

Arrived at the shop on the appointment day. "Greg" couldn't find my work order, and seemed a bit grumpy about the fact. Probably wasn't having a good morning. A co-worker told him I was already in the system. Greg eventually found it, and lightened up after that.

Got the car back without a problem. They even usually with send your car to the car wash place next door for free, but since they were running short on time, they gave me a free ticket for a future car wash. My total bill came out to around $240, less than what a dealer would have charged me for the 30k service alone! We'll be taking our cars here from now on. (In fact, I've already scheduled for my wife's car to be smog-checked here.) Highly recommended.
