Wow, what a pleasant surprise to find a fun, funky boutique in Saratoga that doesn't cater to "the ladies who lunch" crowd. The pieces carried in the shop are high end, quality and best of all unique. When you buy something here, you won't see it on somebody else next week ( a la Macy's.)
The owner has a real jewel here and her prices are set with a "buy me" and "yeah I can afford that" attitude versus, this is Saratoga so I'll just charge through the yazoo.
I'll be back.

I am not the type of person to stay in the mall and shop for hours. I hate it! Don't make me go there.. I worked in the mall when I was in high school so I hope you understand why I would hate malls. When Kitsch opened up a couple of years ago I was relieved! I actually have a place to shop for cute clothes without having to deal with parking or snotty sales associates. This store offers a great selection of big designers & small ones as well. The owner really takes her time in ordering the clothes which is greatly appreciated! I think my closet consists of coats, jeans, scarves, tank tops, shirts, sweaters and so much more just from this store alone. The women who work here really take their time is helping you find sizes or if you are looking for a good gift. They always have amazing sales I never leave empty handed. Unfortunately my credit card bill doesn't look too happy at the end of the month. But i still love this store.
I love Kitsch Couture. It's a gem in Saratoga. Although we don't always find what we are looking for, I always purchase something at this wonderful little boutique. The sales people and owner are wonderful. So friendly and helpful. Their merchandise is very reasonably priced. They have some name brands, such as Free People, as well as more obscure brands, which are reasonably priced. They also have great accessories, jewelry and gift ideas. I highly recommend this shop.
Far from kitschy, this Downtown Saratoga funky shabby chic boutique is filled with cute and trendy clothes and accessories.
Carrying an eclectic mix of labels (including Free People, T-Bags, Michael Stars, Kensie, Pete and Trina Turk), the boutique has pieces for women of all shapes, sizes and ages. This is one of those boutiques that is great for finding an adorable gift for a friend, and then for yourself, but won't create a huge dent in your wallet (though it's highly possible because you might find too many things you want).
Salomeh, the owner (and big fan of Yelp!), is extremely sweet and down-to-earth. Shopping with her is like shopping with one of your girlfriends.
A colorful $100 Missoni-esque jersey floor length halter dress by LA designer Veronica M caught my eye, and I ended up falling in love with it when I tried it on. It will be making its debut at the Four Seasons poolside Elite event! ;)
Super cute boutique in Saratoga.
Prices are a range telling you the owner buys not for profit but for style.
Can get a little expensive, but clothes are expensive quality.
People who work there are very nice and helpful, the woman even helped me decide what was cute and what wasn't.
Belts are made only for people three inches wide (no booties!)
Definitely worth checking out if you just got an expendable paycheck.
Although I liked some of the clothes, I didn't find enough there that caught my eye to warrant frequent return trips in the future. The store reminds me of an Anthropologie and a little less funky than I'd like in a boutique. Just a little.
I did, however, like their sales rack which was loaded with lots of cute things... so actually maybe I will be back more often...
The bird cage in the middle of the store was neat and the sales lady who rung me up was very nice. She offered suggestions on how to wear my purchase which was appreciated.
Very cute boutique! I love that they have from the inexpensive/affordable to more upscale prices. They have brands from Free People, Betsy Johnson, Kenzie, Yana K, and Industry - from jewelry, bags, clutches, shoes, undies, candles, to original looking clothes for the young and more sophisticated women. It's refreshing to see things not at every other boutique.
This used to be a bridal store and is located near Starbucks - it's kind of on the side road, not on Big Basin Way, but certainly within walking distance from anywhere in downtown Saratoga.
The clothing is very chic. I bought a bomber jacket there and I love it. They have a very wide price range of clothing. The staff is very helpful and friendly, even to non-affluent girls, which is a big plus.
Cool boutique! The clothes are adorable as well as the owner, Salomeh. I went there today looking to buy a pair of jeans. I ended up walking out with 2 outfits by Kersh and Tulle. Being a thrifty shopper, I was ecstatic to see reasonable prices on such cute clothes at a boutique in Saratoga.
About my shopping experience: I was looking for a pair of jeans and saw some Moto jeans that I fell in love with. They didn't have my size but they have a book where they write your name and number to call you when they get the item in. I continued looking though the racks and found a cute sage skirt by Tulle. Salomeh brought over two tops to match. A perfect shopping buddy! She is extremely helpful and not pushy at all. I told her I was trying to update my wardrobe to a more sophisticated look and she brought me three tops in two minutes. I loved them all and plan to go back next week when I get paid. She also found a sexy, slinky dress by Tulle that I love (and my boyfriend loves it too!) I even like the bag that she put my clothes in. I plan on reusing it. = )
Overall: Cute, trendy, fresh, urban clothes. My shopping experience was stress free and fun. I can't wait to go back.
This is a fabulous store. Great prices and very unique things. Not to mention the owner is a sweetheart! Very charming atmosphere...
Truly a fun experience!
this store is fantastic! i love seeing young women business owners making their way and kicking ass like salomeh, especially in the dinoasur, old money town of saratoga! she is breathing life into a town that's on one leg, hooked up to a respirator and an i.v. drip!
awesome clothes, with pricing all over the map so there really is something here for anyone. i picked up a pair of canadian (who knew?) kick ass designer jeans for like $70.00 that i wear as much as others that cost loads more!
all the usual suspects are here free people, betsy johnson etc... but she also carries small lines that produce special, one of a kind stuff that always get my heart racing.
my suggestion would be to go have some cocktails at "the bank" across the street and come here to spend some serious $$$ with girlfriends!
so cute! the decor is enough to
lift your spirits and make you
forget about the woes of your day job.
in typical boutique fashion- be prepared for
unique and original finds, some unreasonable
prices and 1 to 3 [at absolute most] of an item in
any particular size. it's a perfect local boutique to frequent
and a great place to find something that all of santa clara county
won't be seen wearing the next day. love it!
i have stopped by just a few times -
the women working here (one of them is the
owner, i think) are so sweet, helpful and nice -
even if i don't make a purchase.
past purchases have included a super sweet (and warm)
winter coat (red fawn brand, i believe) - and a green
cardigan.
not the place to drive across town and seek out -
but a nice visit if you're in the area
also nice to support local owners - non-mall goods
This place is as good as it gets. It is an absolute jewel. Everyone there is helpful and knows what they are talking about when it comes to fashion!!! They know you by name and by style!!!
I love this place! I was just there today actually...and they have something for everyone and at affordable prices too they constantly get new things in and you won't see anyone else wearing what you get there i love love love it .....It's my new favorite place to shop and the owner is so helpful and sweet...definitly check it out!
I love this boutique!! I had just recently gone to this boutique (after finding out about it through yelp) and was very satisfied with what i saw! The clothes are cute with a unique, funky, girly style!! If you're looking for items that are stylish and will stand out, head over to this boutique!!
Adorable boutique. Kitsch Couture offers a nice variety of trendy, sophisticated, and cute clothes. The owner and her staff are extremely helpful and welcome customers of all shapes and styles. I've shopped at Kitsch Couture on several occasions, and I always feel like my shopping experience is delightful. This place offers something for everyone. Eclectic mix of styles, wonderful staff, and with so many cool things throughout the store, it's almost impossible to leave without purchasing something... I give this store two thumbs up!
