Reverend Alberto officiated our wedding on 8/13/2011 in Sonoma, CA. He did an excellent job! He helped us create a beautiful bilingual (English and Spanish) ceremony that reflected our relationship perfectly. We were able to custom design every part of our ceremony.
Rev. Alberto was a huge hit with our guests. They loved him! We have received so many compliments about him. Our guests felt included and special. Several guests said it was the best ceremony they had ever attended. They loved the flow from English to Spanish, the Hand Ceremony and the Love Letter Ceremony, which Rev. Alberto suggested.
I highly recommend Rev. Alberto! He made our day so special! He is extremely professional and kind. -

Reverend Alberto is nice and friendly when you meet him but he won't think twice about screwing you over. Reverend Alberto was unresponsive to e-mails. When he showed up and gave our wedding rehearsal he had the Bride and Groom on the wrong sides! He called my now wife on the phone the day before our wedding at 10:30pm and told her he was not going to be able to do our wedding the next day! This is only 6 hours after our rehearsal, why couldn't he told us then? When his substitutes came the next day he said "Hi, I'm Shane. Nice to meet you... how are you going to be paying me for ceremony?" I replied "oh the check is down by the ceremony our planner will give it to you when it's over". Then Shane went through our wedding boxes found the cashiers check to Alberto and took it himself before the ceremony began.
Who requires a cashiers check for a wedding?"
Someone who doesn't plan on showing up and still expects to get paid. -

Reverend Alberto was our Wedding Officiant back in November 2010. He did our ceremony in English and Spanish. It was short, beautiful and he has a strong, clear voice. I got so many compliments for Reverend Alberto and I was happy we chose him. He arrived early before our ceremony, got signatures for our wedding certificate, introduced himself to my family and friends, and made sure everyone was on the same page. He did a wonderful job! Thank you Reverend Alberto for making my day so special!!
I did take one star off because a month before our wedding I sent him my 3rd draft and did not hear from him for about 3 weeks. I called, sent numerous emails and I got no replies. I freaked out, I thought I got scammed. Finally my husband got a hold of him by phone and Reverend Alberto apologized and explained that he has been traveling and been extremely busy getting other ceremonies ready. I completely understand that but a short email or call would have made me feel better than not hearing from him for 3 weeks. I did receive my final draft after the call and everything was set.
Over all I'm happy we got to work with him. -

Not sure what the F happened!
We chose to work with Alberto because of his 5 star yelp rating, and after our 2 hour initial consultation, we were not disappointed. He was funny, up to date, and had great input. After receiving our first draft we noticed it needed some changes. It has been six weeks and he have not had a call back or email replied to. We are now 80 days away from the main event and have no officiant.... Aaaaand no more $150 deposit!
Didn't sound like a scam at first but recent reviews are making us feel otherwise. -

I dont know how anyone can say anything bad about Alberto. he was awesome. very organized, had so much for me and my wife to choose the wedding WE wanted, even down to details on what we wanted him to wear. very easy to get a hold of when we wanted to make a change to the rough draft. rehersal, he took charge and let everyone know their roles, what to do, and when. on wedding day he was early, looked sharp, and did an amazing job. highly recommend to anyone getting married, especially if you know nothing about vows or how you want your wedding done. he has so much to offer you. thanks a lot Alberto

Reverend Alberto officiated our wedding 4/23/11 at Nestldown, and we couldn't have been happier with him!
We met about 2 months before the wedding where he learned a little bit about us, theme/visionof the wedding etc. Then we basically went through the entire wedding, and we got to decide essentially every word that was said during the cermony. He also gave us the option of throwing in a little planned comedic relief, which we gladly accepted. We also gave him the freedom to ad lib if anything funny happened in the ceremony-which obviously it did!
We thought (as did all of our guests) that Reverend Alberto had the perfect combination of emotion / seriousness and humor/lightheartedness. Our ceremony was not very traditional or religious, so it was perfect for us.
I think that Reverend Alberto is good at tailoring the ceremony to be exactly what you want-so even if you're going for high drama or a lighthearted rom-com, he is still a great choice!
Prices are also reasonable for the Bay Area :)

Rev. Alberto was our Wedding Officiant this past Sat. 9/10/11. He was very professional and calming, which helped me as the bride, a lot! We also did a rehearsal with him and got plenty of compliments after he left. Our ceremony was beautiful! Thanks Alberto for a great job and getting us married!

Reverend Alberto officiated our wedding on the 18th of September. He's sociable, friendly, and really funny. When we met with him months prior, he listened to our wants and needs and helped us create the perfect ceremony. We wanted something fun - for us and for our guests - because our style was non-traditional and festive. He used movie lines to "lighten it up" and his warm personality and friendly smile are two things we'll remember always.

Reverend Alberto officiated our wedding ceremony in September. He was a pleasure to work with & I am so happy that we found him. He pricing was lower than other officiants when I did my research. I forgot our initial appointment, but we met up as soon as possible after he called. I apologized many times since I felt so bad & he was kind about it.
During our rehearsal, he introduced himself to our parents & wedding party. He was very patient in working with us. On wedding day, I forgot a book that my niece needed for the ceremony. He kindly relayed the message to my husband & he got it.
After the wedding, he took the time in instructing us how to get our marriage license. I really appreciated that. -

Alberto was the perfect officiant for our wedding! We met with him initially for 1 and 1/2 hours to discuss our ceremony details. He was patient, friendly, organized and offered a variety of suggestions. His website was also very informative and professional. We felt very comfortable and hired him that day. He also gave us a time capsule idea that was just the perfect accompaniment for our ceremony.
On the day of the ceremony, our friends and relatives thought the ceremony was so well-written and kept asking, did he really write that himself? Some even thought we had known you for years! We actually found him on Yelp!
The ceremony was just beautiful and none of my friends had a dry eye... I loved how Alberto incorporated my favorite readings and also shared additional information about us that made it so personal.
The time capsule was also such a fantastic idea! My husband and I had a really nice time writing it two days before the wedding. In the midst of all the planning, when we sat down to write the love letter to place into the time capsule (to be opened along with a bottle of wine at our 5th wedding anniversary- another great idea from Alberto), it really calmed us down and helped us connect to each other again. After that, we felt that we didn't need to write our own vows, as we poured everything into the letters. It was a great experience! Our friends and family also loved the concept and thought it was so romantic!
Alberto also has a great sense of humor and is so passionate about what he does. We couldn't find a better officient for our ceremony who could have made it so memorable, personalized and unique- we couldn't have been happier. -

We truly enjoyed the ceremony and he accommodated us with all the last minute changes we made to the vows and ceremony.
The initial meeting was great, as he answered all our questions and really got to know us and our needs. He quickly put our minds at ease and tailored he ceremony to fit our biracial, multi-religious needs.
Although we were not very accessible and the time was too short, he was able to ensure we had all the details as per what we requested.
We especially liked the various suggestions offered to us, to add more flavor and color to our vow exchange. The gifting of the flowers for Norma's mom, the moment of silence for all those who could not be present and the wonderful added humor bit was so well received by our guests and family members.
Even our guests mentioned how his ease of changing between Spanish and English seemed so seamless and and so clear. The guests also had quite a good impression of him, as they remember him mingling with them -

Alberto was great on our wedding day! When we first called him we were super stressed and nervous, but after talking felt much better and ready to enjoy our wedding! We really don't know what we would have done without his help and professionalism at the last minute. He helped us every step of the way and gave us amazing ideas like giving the roses to our Moms - which both of them were more than happy for that!
Since we didn't have a rehearsal the night before My husband and I were very nervous before the ceremony but everything worked perfectly he made us both feel so comfortable. I'm so glad we contacted him because my Mom does not speak English and she was able to understand our wedding ceremony. He even brought someone to take photos of the ceremony!
Our family members all commented on what a wonderful ceremony we had! We gladly recommend him to anyone! -

We had Reverend Alberto officiate our wedding a few weeks ago. Before the wedding, we met with him once, and all communication from then on was via e-mail (which is how I prefer it). When we first met him, he seemed laid back and friendly, which matches our personalities pretty well, so we booked him. He is always responsive to e-mails, and he will answer any questions you might have. Like the other reviewer said, he is willing to work with people to customize the ceremony to their needs/wants. I think we were pretty annoying about making changes, but he took it all in stride anyway.
The day of the wedding, he was on time, and did a great job. My husband and I would definitely recommend him. -

Reverend Alberto was a wonderful officiant. He recently officiated our wedding and we couldn't have been happier. I guess the first thing we noticed about him was his ability to really organize our wedding ceremony. We had the reception timeline well sorted out but the wedding ceremony itself (at the time of our first meeting with the reverend) was still pretty unorganized.
He sat down with us and provided us with a structured timeline based on our needs and wants, our religious associations, etc. I remember going into the meeting feeling a little nervous about our ceremony in its current state, but when we sat down with him all of that went away.
He is very personable organized, punctual and friendly. I definitely recommend him for any wedding.

WARNING: This guy is unreliable, lies, and will take your money!
My fiance and I met with "Rev." Alberto in November of 2010 to plan for our April 2011 wedding.
We were so excited to have met Alberto. He is bilingual and really got our vision for our ceremony. We spent almost 3 hours in that initial consult with him and booked him on the spot. We also gve him a check for the $150 deposit he required.
Well it's now March 29th, 2011 and we have yet to hear from him. He never sent me an outline of the ceremony. He never returned any of the several messages I left him and he never replied to any emails. He did, however, promptly cash the $150 check we gave him.
As far as we are concerned "Rev". (I don't think he deserves this tittle) Alberto is a fraud.
We are fortunate to have found someone else who is reliable, bilingual, and HONEST to perform our wedding ceremony.
Dealing with this person caused a lot of stress and heartbreak. We had never experienced anything like this and were saddened by the fact that someone would do this to a soon-to-be married couple trying to plan a wedding.
I really hope this reviews serves as a warning to future brides. If you are considering using this guy, please don't!!
I will be more than happy to refer you to someone else.
Now, if only I could get my money back..... -

Reverend was perfect. The ceremony was amazing. Justin and I have been raving about his services ever since the first day. He could not have been more through even though it was just a consultation. Very impressive. The rehearsal was perfect and the wedding day was more perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better match!! Our guest were very impressed with him. The Rev. Alberto was an excellent officiant for my wedding in Dec. 2009. I am pleased to recommend him to you.
PROS:
1. He made the entire process easy and worry-free. He was professional, friendly, and a pleasure to work with.
2. We worked on the entire script of the ceremony together and knew exactly what would be said and when. There were no surprises of what he would say or not say including our wishes to exclude the mention of religion.
3. He offered ideas of how to make our ceremony special for us by including or not including a dozen or so features. For example, we incorporated the hand ceremony of what our partner's hand meant to us.
4. His website where clients log-in is well organized with suggestions for the ceremony and music for the program.
5. We could read our own vows or he could read what we wish and answer "I do".
6. He instructed us on how to get the license and marriage certificate afterwards.
7. He offered ways for us to save on his already very affordable fees.

LOVE this brother and sister reverend duo! I originally wanted to book Rev. Alberto to officiate my wedding but he was already booked that day. Thankfully his sister Rev. Carolina was available. I really liked having a Latina officiate my wedding! What was awesome is that she did parts of our ceremony in Spanish for our primary Spanish guests. Even though Carolina was to be our officiant on the actual day, Alberto was present throughout the whole process. They make a fabulous team. Both are equally personable and professional. Our bridal party even commented how impressed they were with Carolina. I would definitely recommend!

Reverend Alberto was the officiant for our wedding on September 4. He did a great job! A few of our guests commented that the ceremony was enjoyable and and was a good mix of humor and sentimentality. Reverend Alberto was also very easy to work with; he went through each part of the ceremony with us when we met up with him and explained all the different parts. He was very patient with us and always respected our feedback. Also, he took care of our marriage license at the end of the ceremony, so we didn't even have to worry about it. I highly recommend him to officiate your wedding.

My fiance and I found Alberto on Yelp and were not disappointed when we met him for the initial 2+ hours consult. Alberto was friendly and kind, and during our meeting we put together a beautiful wedding ceremony that really spoke to both of us - it was just what we were hoping for! BUT, when I emailed him the following day to move forward with signing a contract to book his officiant services, he never responded. It's now been a month and after calling him and leaving a couple messages and sending multiple emails - we never heard back. I don't know what happened? The experience left us feeling deflated as we really fell in love with the ceremony we created with Alberto and would have, in the least, appreciated a response from him indicating that he had changed his mind or whatever the case may be. Not sure if other folks have experienced this with Kiss the Bride Wedding Services, but wanted to share on Yelp as a red flag to other couples in search of a wedding officiant.

Alberto was a great officiant. We only met once before the wedding, but during our meeting he was professional, straight-forward, and really friendly--someone I felt comfortable being around. My fiancee and I both really liked him. He did a wonderful job of helping us tailor our ceremony to make it feel like ours, email conversations with him were smooth, and he made very good suggestions about the custom vows my husband and I wrote.
On the day of the wedding he showed up with plenty of time to spare, looked nice, and delivered the ceremony perfectly. I would definitely recommend Alberto if you are looking for a wedding officiant! -

Rev. Alberto officiated our wedding last weekend. He is professional and cordial. At our rehearsal, he gave really helpful tips to our bridesmaids and groomsmen- for example, where and how to have their hands, where to look, how not to block the camera, etc etc. These seemingly small tips turned out to be spot-on!! We haven't gotten our professional photos yet, but one of our friends took some photos with her camera during the ceremony and sent them to us. The bridesmaids and groomsmen look absolutely perfect- needless to say, their hands are all perfectly uniform and all the girls are holding the bouquet the same way, and they are standing in perfect V formation. So, I must admit I didn't think these tips were that important to me until I actually saw the photos and realized how good they look. One of my bridesmaids who has been to many wedding even told me that the advice that Rev. Alberto gave was really helpful.
Our ceremony went really smoothly, and he was both funny and efficient. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you Rev. Alberto! -

Easily one of he best weddings I've been a part of. Reverend Rafael was courteous, punctual and a pleasure to deal with.
I've seen rehearsals get a little out of hand before, with the participants sometimes letting the nervous jitters get the best of them. Rafael was patient but firm; he knew when to keep things loose and calm and when to get down to business. The wedding ceremony was perfect.

I had Rev. Alberto perform my September ceremony and everything was excellent. From the early stages he was an excellent consultant, offering ideas and suggestions to help us with the customization of our ceremony. A scheduling oversite caused him to not be available for our rehersal but he quickly remedied the problem by having a substitute for us and the communication between her and Alberto was seemless. I give him no lower mark for that because things happen and the problem was remedied to my satisfaction and there was no problems in the end because of it. Our ceremony was bi-lingual and Rev. Alberto knows how to do it so its not to long or boring. My guests all commented on what a great ceremony it was and it totally fit our style. Also, we are in Washington so he did phone consultations with us during the planning and I never felt like I didnt have his full attention or felt rushed. He was outstanding!! He also has a great website and exellent resources he will make available to you after you book him for your ceremony that really make things easy!

My husband and I were married by Rev Alberto on January 2nd, 2011. We found him on the web after months of looking for a bilingual officiant to conduct our Christian/Catholic wedding. He was GREAT! We were able to incorporate both religions and made our ceremony our own and he gave us the flexibility to do that. He performance at the wedding was great as well, he is very professional but also brings some humor to ease the nerves. He told me I was slouching during the ceremony which I really appreciated because my pictures came out better =) I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant. We are really grateful we chose him.

He tries very hard to match the ceremony to how YOU prefer it and customizes each one to the couple it is dedicated for. We were so lucky to have found Rev. Alberto and Rev. Carolina. When we first met them it was almost 9 months before our wedding and they were great. They are so well prepared. They gave us great ideas and really made us feel comfortable. In the upcoming weeks of our wedding they prepared a beautiful ceremony. Rev. Carolina married us and she was great. Our family is kinda crazy and Rev. Carolina just went with is. This was a great wedding. All our friends and family said it was one of the best weddings ever. Thank you to Kiss the Bride. Rev. Alberto performed our wedding ceremony about 2weeks ago. Wow were to begin.... hes fantastic!! He has such a soothing presence about him when we first met him we knew he was the officiant we wanted to perform our wedding. He listens carefully to what you want and makes suggestions based on that . We did alot of our communication on line via e-mail which worked best for us as well since I have a chaotic work schedule and lots of other appointments I had to take care of for the wedding. He was present for the rehearsal and the day day of the wedding on time smiling and ready to go cool as always .My family really appreciated the fact that he introduced himself to all of them (they are very old fashioned is bilingual a definite plus.Our ceremony was in English and Spanish. My husband and I would highly recommend Reverend Alberto for every ones wedding he can customize any couples needs perfectly!!

If there were 10 stars to give I would! Rev. Alberto was the Officiant at my wedding 2 weeks ago. When all is said and done and I reflect on the vendors I used, Alberto stands out on top for sure! I found him on Yelp and based on all the reviews decided to contact him. I must say there is a reason for all the raving reviews (now I am one of them)! In our first meeting we nailed the entire ceremony, it was a breeze and he walked us through every step at our pace. He was prompt with e-mail response and came prepared to the rehearsal! I didn't have to remember or do anything, he had all the answers my site coordinator needed. Rev. Alberto preformed the ceremony flawlessly, his tone and pace was very pleasant and not rushed. Thank you Rev. Alberto! Rob and I are very happy to have had you perform our ceremony!
