If you know me, there's almost nothing I like more than stuff that's free (besides world peace, of course, but something tells me that don't come cheap). I went to meet up with a buddy at their open house, and when I walked in I was warmly welcomed to Kisma and what it's all about. I spotted the free yummy treats and wine and thought I'd partake as soon as I located my friend. The place isn't huge, but I couldn't find her. Six rapid-fire calls later, still nothing. Suddenly, she emerged, looking refreshed and weak in the knees. She'd smartly muted her phone during a free eye treatment. "Wha - where are those?" I wanted to know. Just through those magical doors, she pointed.
I don't remember much, except: 10-minute massage of wonderfulness from Geri; special eye treatment with tea packets and a head massage (not ideal on curls but worth it); foot soak and calf massage; hand massage; white wine; sweet things; hair tutorials; makeup. I thought: if I ever hit it big as a hired assassin (fantasy job) I'm so totally treating myself at Kisma. It's an unassuming little spot, but it packs quite the self-indulgent punch/massage.
These people know how to throw a party. I went to several fashion week events but Kisma was the BEST hands down. They offered 10 minute spa services with 10+ stations for free with awesome food and drinks. I was under the impression it was just a Salon and didn't know it was a Aveda Concept either. I was thoroughly impressed and will be back for another spa evening. I am sure everyone that attended was sold on Kisma.
Teresita is THE best at hair color and cuts! I am so thankful I found her. She's extremely talented and pays great attention to detail. She is THE best at listening and delivering the most amazing cut and color. And, she's delightful to be around.
I haven't gotten my hair cut here, so this review is for the spa side. I've been going to Sheri here for about a year for various services, and she always does a great job and is extremely friendly. They also have extended hours on T/W/Th for people who work during the day.
