"Please" and "Thank You" are indispensable phrases in the English language, that should be liberally and unfailingly offered. That lesson was repeatedly beaten into my head as a child, and should I ever have children, will be drummed into the heads of another generation.
It is remarkable how rude people are in general, remarkable how particularly rude people are in the morning, and it is remarkable how they boss around the counter help like menial slaves.
I would like to think that common decency and politeness plays a small part in why they loyally retrieve my order each morning, without my actually having to order it. And why I so often skip the lengthy line.
The employees here are always hardworking, competent, and polite, despite frequently and needlessly being treated like vassal serfs by the NYC masses. -

So, i've been ordering from Kips Bay Deli via SeamlessWeb and I'm just at a lost of words. Granted i've been ordering only their sandwiches, they're AMAZING. I had the Turkey Club, Reuben Melt and today the Chicken Cutlet.
The sandwiches are nice and hearty and made solidly. No hangers on teh side or falling ingredients. Tightly packed.

The first time I ordered there, I got breakfast food. It was good enough.
I decided to order dinner from there tonight and it took an HOUR. I had to call the place twice because the guy kept acting like the person had just left, which became evident was just not true.
Too long of a wait for such typical food.
Prices are good but be prepared to wait for delivery.
