I love bringing people to Kiowa Rose because it's so much more gorgeous than most bead stores. There's a wonderful art nouveau flair to the store, and the hand-beaded pieces on display are just amazing.

The prices for beads and findings are not rock-bottom, but they're fairly reasonable (especially for some of the vintage items). They have modern, Victorian-style, vintage, and Asian beads and other elements. They acquire new things all the time, and they definitely have things you won't see at Michael's or Jo-Ann's.

You can also buy handmade jewelry here if you'd rather not make it yourself. There's a wide price range, so I often recommend Kiowa Rose as a great place to buy gifts. Do note that some of the jewelry on display is not for sale, so check for price tags.

Kiowa Rose also offers classes at various levels, although I haven't tried any of these for myself.

Finally, the staff and owners are terrific. There's no pressure to buy anything, so you can enjoy looking around and asking any questions you want to ask. Just remember that they're closed on Tuesdays so that you don't keep disappointing yourself like I do!

This is the BEST bead supply shop ANYWHERE!  I love this place.  Done up in Victorian style, it is almost hard to leave there!  The most beautifully arranged and decorated bead shop I have ever been in.  Many fantastically beautiful handmade items on display, I go there sometimes just for inspiration.   The staff (including the owners) are so helpful and friendly, they make you feel like they have known you all of your life.   Yet they leave to you shop, no pressure here.   The selection is incrediable.   I defy anyone to find a more organzied and incrediably beautiful shop anywhere!

I can't believe there are no reviews for this place! I love shopping here and they always have really unique beads and trims~ The owner is a fantastic woman who has been a costumer and she is a fantastic artisan, I always love to look at her beaded works.  It is a gallery in there, she makes some spectacular things. They also have a class list which you can look up on their online shop which offers many different jewelry making classes from beginner to advanced. Check it out, it is worth the trip!
