OK, I'm not quite sure why there are 2 M's here but anyhow.
The hanguksarams (Korean people) seriously know how to hook it up. Kimm's is a rather large florist that seems to do it all, from regular bouquets to wedding arrangements. The place is a lot larger than most of the florists that I've ever been to. On two occasions, I went in with a general idea of what I wanted and on both occasions they've suggested something even better and still within my price range.
Parking is around the back and woefully inadequate but there is also street parking. I've yet to try them for delivery without seeing the arrangement first, but I trust their judgment so far and I'll be entrusting them with my Valentine's Day business as well. An extra star if their work helps me get lucky. ;)
Daehanminguk! Fighting!

I've been coming here for years and the Kim's have always taken care of me. They have the highest quality flowers in the south bay and from prom's to weddings to funerals they have never let me down.
Left hand, right hand problems.
After all the positive reviews I decided to try them out. Went in on a Friday to order a small arrangement for pickup the next day.
The order taker was nice and we discussed what I was after. We looked at some pictures, talked about color scheme, and went over the flowers I could expect. When asked about budget I said about $30. He thought that I wouldn't get more than single rose at that price and suggested maybe $40 to have more headroom. Single stems are $8. Hmmm a little pricey but I'm all for supporting local businesses. $40 it is.
Fast forward. I'm in a real hurry on Saturday and pickup the arrangement. Nice colors, decent size, not a single rose. I have no time to debate so I leave and look it over later. After all the time I spent there on Friday and the references to specific images in their books I would have expected something a little close to what we talked about. Afterall, the only reason I said OK to $40 was with the understanding that I'd get more than one rose. If your price structure will not allow it, don't promise it when up-selling me. If one person implies I'll get at least one, then make sure I get it.
Lesson learned, make sure you see what they are writing down in the order. If you ask for specific flowers, have them write it down so the arranger includes those flowers. One hand didn't know what the other one was doing in this case. I'll continue my search for a good local florist.
Gotta be honest, later saw a very similar bunch of flowers at Lucky's for about $9.
I ordered a dozen roses from this place last valentine's day for my date (now girlfriend). The flowers were beautiful and she loved it. Flowers were very pricy (about $130), but that was expected since prices will go up with demand.
There's not really much to review about a florist. Either the flowers are vibrant and healthy or they're wilting and dead.
I had some flowers delivered to that special someone (she know's who she is) at her work on Valentine's Day. Deliveries like that are always an act of serious faith in the florist. Kimm's Flower Basket, not only got them to the right place, they made up a beautiful arrangement of fresh and vibrant flowers that are, coincidently, still in their vase on the coffee table, and very much still alive.
Thank you Kimm's Flower Basket for delivering such beautiful and fresh flowers on the day that most men get in trouble for blowing it with bad (or forgotten) gifts.

I got the most gorgeous, giamongous arrangement of flowers from Kimm's on Valentine's day from a secret admirer. A dozen long-stemmed red roses, a whole bunch of white lilies and white orchids, as well. Let me tell you, it knocked me off of my feet! This was honestly the most breath-taking arrangement of roses I have ever seen, and I thought that before I discovered they were for me, so I wasn't even biased at that point.
Sadly, the flowers were WAY more impressive than the secret admirer turned out to be. :(
