4 reviews for Kim Pfabe's Sugarcane
Hands down, Kim is just amazing. It might seem cliche that almost all the reviews are 5 stars here, but she really does deserve it. I've been seeing Kim for over a year and my skin couldn't be better. She is so completely knowledgeable that you immediately feel comfortable in her hands. Speaking of hands, have I mentioned she has an incredible touch? Let's face it, anyone can rub some creams into the skin. But her touch and facial massage lets you know that Kim is an expert. I feel relaxed and soothed when I'm there under her care. You should also know that Kim really knows how to EXTRACT. I mean, my pores are SPOTLESS after she's worked on me. It's not always pleasant to get all that gunk out of my skin, but I know she leaves no pore unturned! This is far more important to me than just mere relaxation, even though you get that as well. She uses many techniques to help calm the skin afterwards, so you never leave looking a bright red mess. In fact, I've left several times straight from my facial and gone to work. I may apply some mascara and lip color, but my skin is just glowing! In addition no two treatments I've had from her have been exactly the same. Each visit is customized to how my skin looks that day, what it's been doing recently, etc. I've had peels, microdermabrasion, the works. I love it all! Exfoliation is my friend. :)
The new space in South Park is gorgeous as well. Light, airy, and clean. All the products are fantastic, I buy all my skincare from her now and don't regret a dime. Check out Kim Pfabe's Sugarcane and you won't regret it either.
Okay, I gave her 4 stars because I want you to read my review and every other one was from SF and really excited. What you need to know about Kim is that she knows skin and what works for each person. I love that she does not push products, wants you to use everything in your cabinet before shelling out bucks. I have "older" skin that looks much brighter after only two sessions with Kim. I have been getting facials for years on my "older" skin and she is definitively the best I have used because she is a straight shooter. I don't have mucho dinero right now so I am not getting all the massage stuff but get all the goodies for my skin just the same.
I love the idea that you buy time and she tells you what you need ie: peel today or no peel, etc. Solid, knowledgeable and great products. I just bought Youth and use the sunscreen moisturizer. more later.....
I went here for a party hosted by an sponsor group for a meetup that I belong. I felt very comfortable. The ambiance is soothing and the fact that I was not really pushed for products, got free food and samples and enjoyed myself, I am willing to give them a serious consideration prior to attending any important venues. The location is uniquely located off a little street behind the AT&T ballpark. I like the fact that they mix facial, dieting, proper food intake, advices mix and matches based on existing products that you are currently using (save $$$ on recycling instead of buying more and more stuff), acupuncture and an overall health care regime to achieve the goal of a radiant skin. We all want quick fixes in life and want to buy into sales pinches that this one product or technique or method is all you need to achieve that ideal result. But living long enough, we all know that sales pinches are just that, sales pinches. So next time you feel like working at developing better skin and healthier life habits, think of sugarcane. You will enjoy talking to nice ladies. Don't buy or book anything yet just check the place and the advisors out for yourself and see if you like it first. :)
Kim is great! She was recommended to me by my waxer and a friend.
She gets right to the point and doesn't try to tell you that your skin is a mess and you must buy hundreds of dollars worth of product to remedy it. Kim's "secret" ingredient is honesty and it even soothes the burn of getting a peel.
The environment is soothing and Kim goes out of her way to make you comfortable with down comforters, an ergonomic treatment table, booties and warm mitts, and mildly scented moisterizers.
How can I be the first to review Kim? She has been open for awhile.
