A ketubah 1. (Hebrew: ; "document"; pl. ketubot) is a special type of Jewish prenuptial agreement. It is considered an integral part of a traditional Jewish marriage, and outlines the rights and responsibilities of the groom, in relation to the bride.
2. (noun) A type of marriage document that for us, well my bride and I spent days sorting through hundreds to pick the perfect style, days getting it approved by the rabbi, then hauling it out of state so we could sign it at our beach wedding last year. And then it sat, and sat, and sat.
We knew we wanted to do something special with it, and considered going out and getting a small frame for it. But then we took it to Rosie, Jimmy and company--I'm a local and drive by their store most days--and I asked them what they could do with it.
The frame we wound up selecting wasn't the ordinary Bed, Bath, and Beyond... or even Tiffany frames. These are the types of frames you'd use on a HAND SIGNED MATISSE. And I thought it would cost an arm and a leg... but Jimmy and Rosie worked with us, and gave us a fair and reasonable price, and now that we have it, we are SO happy with how it looks.
Go here with confidence, you won't be let down. -

These folks have out done Santa this year. First they got several things I needed done quickly finished in 4 days. Then I need something super special for Christmas and have a 60 hour "window" to make it happen. I want the red on the drawing to print so I leave to Sal's design.
It was done in 59 hours! I was able to present to my friends before they left on vacation and they L-O-V-E-D I-T ! And once again, Jimmy gave me a good price on museum glass. The pic is included in the photo archives on their Yelp web page - baseball glove pen & ink with hand coloring, flat silver looking frame with black mat with black/red/black cut and the red really does pop!
Many thanks for all the extra effort that went into this!

All the reviews are true! The staff was super friendly and helpful. I had more than one person come by and offer their opinion as I worked to choose the best options for framing. They were patient and more than understanding of my budget. The owner came over and offered up a very nice discount for me so that I could still have the quality framing I wanted yet remain within my budget restrictions. I went there based on previous yelp review and I'm happy to offer up my own. I'm also super thankful to get my work back within a week, whereas I waited 5 weeks at Michael's when I had things done there. Thanks, KH!

I am very pleased with my framing experience at KH. I found a very nice but inexpensive poster online, and I wanted to turn it into a nice piece of artwork. I went to KH, and a guy helped me find a suitable wood frame. (It wasn't the friendliest service, hence the minus 1 star above, but it got the job done though!) When the total price came to more than I wanted to pay (I mean, after all, it was a poster...), the guy suggested going with a smaller but similar frame. That brought my total framing job to less than $100, and it turned out that the frame was a better fit anyway.
They estimated that it would be ready in a week, but it was done in half the time. I just picked my finished piece up today, and it was expertly done. The piece looks tasteful and expensive, and I can't wait to hang it. I would definitely come back here for my future framing needs.
P.S. Check the store website for coupons. They are often even better deals than you find in the little Yelp discount box above. -

I was looking for a supply shop where I could buy acid-free matboard to cut my own window mats for an upcoming photography exhibit. Based on Jennifer's review, it seemed as though this place would be the best bet. IT WAS PERFECT!
The owner was the kindest person ever and intuively asked me the right questions. Before I walked in, I thought I had everything planned out, since I've been cutting my own mats for years. But he asked me what size I was planning to cut and he happened measured it out for me just to be thorough and verify I was buying what I need. Boy, am I glad he did that! He pointed out a measurement that I hadn't considered and helped me avoid making a major mistake.
It's so rare to find the kind of person who is interested in your project and contributes useful insight. This place comes highly recommended and I will certainly be back in the future! -

I did not think such amazing service was possible. We went in this past Saturday to have our Ketubah framed. The owner was so kind and nice to work with. He picked all the right colors, gave us a fair price, and was just awesome to work with. We will go back for sure!

Over the years I have had to have SO MANY things framed (everything from restaurant reviews to photos). This is ALWAYS where I go. The owner is knowledgeable and patient. I am anal and annoying. It works well. Not only does he have a HUGE selection of frames to choose from, but also has an equally impressive array of mat board colors. The price is always right on target - not higher or lower than other places I've been. The framing job is always PERFECT. And they always get the project(s) done in a timely manner. Plus, it's fun to peruse the pre-framed prints and mirrors for sale in the shop!

Another excellent review, they did very high-quality work for about $100 less than other professional framing establishments. They have my loyalty now.

This is the place to have anything framed. I frame everything, from diplomas to ticket stubs - and i have them framed here. the staff rocks (special thanks to Jimmy) and is very patient with me and they are very knowledgable about colors and textures that enhance any "art" you may have. Once, i picked out the mat and frame and layout, and once the project was complete, i didn't like it - and they reframed the entire project for free!! This store has my loyality, and it rewards my loyality by never disappointing!!!

I love this place. The work is technically perfect and aesthetically gorgeous. I have had about 6 pieces framed here and they were all perfect. I will definitely be back.

Indeed. Framing is never cheap and knowing that before going into KH Art Framing for my first professional framed piece, I was prepared to fork over some dough to have it done. The guy who worked with me was incredibly helpful in explaining all of the different options to me and when he revealed to me the total for the package I chose, well I sort of freaked out a little and wasn't sure if I might have to wait to get it done. Being such an amazing salesman (and just a nice guy I think) he cut me a deal and whipped me out of my sticker shock. I have several more prints waiting to be framed and you can be sure I will return here as they did a beautiful job and I was proud to present my husband with our first piece of "real" art.

Just had K&L do its first framing job for me. Though framing is never cheap, I felt that they did an excellent job at a price that was very reasonable. I also was impressed with how they put a tag with identifying information about the artist on the back of the picture, even though this was a print by an emerging artist that I had purchased for $20 three years ago (yes, framing the print cost several times more than the print - but monetary worth is only part of the value of the artwork to me).
I will certainly return to K&L for my next framing job! -

From the time I walked in the door I had a great experience here. Everyone in the place was kind and helpful. I had a large Jackson Pollock print that I thought was going to cost me over 400 dollars to frame and I was out the door for 190 because of the great deals. The quality of the work was remarkable and the project was done in just under a week, which is quick considering what some places will make you wait. When I went in to pick it up there was someone to help me carry it out to my car for me. What a great place... I will definitely be back!
