Deckard is the owner and chief mechanic/tech. He and his lovely wife Kim (front desk) immigrated from Vietnam, got degrees at SJ State and started this business. They are smart, honest and hard working people realizing the American dream. I know cars, but Deckard can run circles around me. Kim knows a lot about repairing cars too. She doesn't work on the cars but I bet she would be quite good. She often hits the right diagnosis when you call in and describe the problem. Deckard is in the top 1%. He can troubleshoot problems that baffle everyone else. That is why dealers bring him cars that their techs cannot diagnose. Deckard has an amazing memory. He remembers quirks in old fuel injection systems like Bosch K-Jetronic and knows  all the latest systems as well. He is a great guy too. If you have an older car and a low budget, he will find used or rebuilt parts. He is absolutely honest too, no phony repairs at Keystone. He hires smart techs. No dummies touch a wrench in his shop. He is the most knowledgeable, intelligent and resourceful tech I have ever met. What more can I say? I hate to recommend Keystone because they are already overbooked. Still, they always fit me in. Maybe they should put on a night shift. If six stars were possible that is what my rating would be.

I bring my little Ford 4-banger here for everything from oil changes to diagnostic work; basically everything and anything my car ever needs is handled by Denholm and the folks here at Keystone Auto.

Their parking lot is always TOTALLY full and their garage is ALWAYS busy, despite being fully staffed with several mechanics and I credit this to the fact that they do such fantastic work in record time.  Somehow they are able to get my car in and out in usually no more than a day (most times its done the same day I drop it off)!

They are always very friendly (especially Kim in the front office) and most importantly, HONEST.  They never have tried to gouge me or rake me over the coals to make an extra dollar.

I know it can be hard to find a good auto shop that you can trust.  I was very surprised to see nobody had written a review yet of Keystone Auto being that they're perpetually deluged with business.  Based on my experience with this shop, they can expect my business for many years to come!
