"Dr. Baird isn't an oral surgeon; he is a magician. A wisdom tooth extraction magician. After putting off getting my wisdom teeth pulled…" read more »
So i just got my wisdom teeth out this morning and am HIGH on vicodin at this moment....LOL.To be honest i dont remember much of it because i was put to sleep. All i know is hes the top dawg of OMS. Hes been in the bizz for 20 years+ and he taught a unviversity so he knows what hes doing. Hes really chatty and friendly, makes u feel comfortable. My overall experience was a postive one and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend him to anyone.
cons: -its kinda pricey so you should have some type of insurance
- i waited almost 2 hrs to get into the chair...

I had my four wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Jeworski. I had a dental emergency and was referred to him by my dentist. He was able to see me the next day for surgery, which was almost unheard of. Very impressive!
On the day of the surgery, I was nervous and in great pain. During the consultation he was very kind and caring. He explained the procedure thoroughly and showed me an informative video, which was very helpful .
The operation was painless and much easier than I had thought it would be. It was fast and smooth. He even offered headphones so I could listen to my favorite tunes during the surgery. That got my mind off of the surgery. Nice! Recovery was fast and almost painless. He even made a phone call to my house to check up on me. That had never happened to me before. I thought that was very nice of him.
I believe he is one of the most skillful, personable and knowledgeable oral surgeons out there. He has a great website, too. I recommend you visit his website at http://www.siliconvall... prior to your appointment. And if you are one of those people who hate to fill out those patient registration forms at the doctor's office, do what I did and submit it online at his website. Saves you a lot of time :) To sum up, I can say that my overall experience was very pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. Jeworski and his staff for expert oral surgery and five-star service.
I wish I had more wisdom teeth for this guy to pull. I'm not kidding. Here's what happened...
First wisdom tooth was hell to pull. The dentist (not Dr. Jeworski) was sweating and heaving and pulling as I braced myself against a counter. I am not kidding when I say I almost told him to just stand on my head to get better leverage. Tooth finally came out, along with a part of my mouth.
Fast forward a few years....
Had to get 3 other wisdom teeth out. I can handle a lot of pain, so I wasn't too stressed out. Show up, they stick me in a room where I watch some gay video that must have been put out by an insurance agency.
Dr. Jeworski comes in and instantly I really like the guy. We go into the tooth extraction room, he hits me up with a couple painless shots and asks if I want to listen to some music. The first CD he brings up is AC/DC. PERFECT! He puts it on, I relax....he comes back, puts some gauze in my mouth and does a little inspection. Then he busts out this GIANT--and I mean HORSE LIKE hypodermic needle. He says, "this is gonna sting a bit"....I say, "ok, do it" Then, as if I ruined the joke, his shoulders shrug a bit and he says....we're done....and shows me the tooth.
At this point I'm thinking he's some kind of magician. How the FUCK did this guy pull a tooth and I didn't even feel the slightest tug. The other two teeth came out just as easily, but I paid more attention--and was even more amazed. I seriously don't know how he does what he does.

dr. jeworski is THE BEST oral and maxillofacial surgeon OF ALL TIME. what is maxillofacial surgery, you ask? BEATS ME - i just grabbed that from his site. what i can share with you is the wonderful experience i had when i had three wisdom teeth extracted from my grill.
i happened to find dr. jeworski by chance. i was looking for surgeons that accepted my shitty excuse for dental insurance and was pleased that he was an Aetna DMO provider (from what i can tell - he accepts most insurance plans). i immediately booked an appointment and started getting really nervous. a surgeon that takes dmo? i thought to myself - man that office must get low foot traffic and must be at the brink of desperation if he'll take the shitty price ceilings that dmo's impose. that's when i started doing my research. i mean, could i trust this dmo-accepting dentist with my precious (and VERY painful) wisdoms.
long story short - i asked around and was pleased to find plenty of anecdotal evidence that this guy is THE GUY to go to. i felt comfortable and showed up for appointment #1 - the prescreen. dr. jeworski instantly calmed my nerves and patiently explained the two types of anethesia his office provides and the methods of extraction that may be used. anesthesia....good stuff. he'll put you to sleep if you're a nervous nelly and keep you concious if you're....um....nuts. his assistant took my x-rays and i was informed that *gasp* one of my wisdoms were impacted. he left me alone in the office for a while to watch a (very education) video on the surgical procedure. i spent that time staring at his diplomas. john hopkins university...check. ucsf? phew. voted as one of the top 100 dentists in america.....SWEET! nice credentials! i felt more at ease.
long story short - the surgery was very smooth and his technique was flawless. i experienced very little swelling and was able to eat solid foods that afternoon (although i probably wouldn't recommend that). dr. jeworski is one of the most patient, skillful, personable and knowledgeable surgeons out there. i have recommended him to all of my friends and let me tell you that EVERYONE has given him a raving review.
dr. jeworski.
best oral surgeon of all time.
this is a fact.
