Agree with everyone else that this definitely is one of the best views of Seattle especially on a sunny day.

However be warned...there about 10 photographers all the time here hogging the view and they can get angry if you step in their line.

On our last night in Seattle, my girlfriends and I each put on about four layers of clothing, came here, and had a picnic of Top Pot Doughnuts.   At midnight.

(Even then, it wasn't deserted.  Everyone knew that this is the best view of the skyline.)

Hands down, my favorite memory of Seattle.

Though this little 20x100 ft plot of land is tiny, it really is one of the absolute best views of Downtown Seattle.  The view is so good that even a novice photographer couldn't screw up this shot...

I'd definitely recommend visiting this park, kicking back, and just taking it in.

This place is still the coolest. I took my sister here since she came in from out of state and she said this was her favorite viewing place out of all of the parks in Seattle I took her to.

Part of the best thing about Kerry Park is that even when it's cloudy, you still have a great landscape view of Lake Washington/Seattle.

I love love love this park, the view is seriously amazing, a photographers dream, a great place for a wedding. I have been here tons of times and my family comes here to take family photos for our holiday cards.

If you want a SPECTACULAR view of Seattle, this is 1 of 2 places to go (the other being over on Alki beach facing Seattle).

A lot of people touring Seattle don't know about it but this tiny gem is a must see especially on a clear night.  Great for photos (long exposures of the city lights).

As an FYI, this park is very small and is more of a stop than a place to hang out, go for a walk, play w/a dog, etc.

If nothing else, it is one of the best things you can do for free in Seattle.  If you've never been, make an effort to go here on a clear night.

Whenever I have friends come to town I always take them to Kerry Park since it has such an amazing view of the city.  It is very small, and there are always a lot of people there, so if you are looking for a place to go and hang out, this isn't it.  It's more of a stop by for 10 minutes for a great view and a few pictures and move on.

Amazing view of Seattle if not one of the best. I have taken so many pics of the city in the day and at night. Great place to take your girlfriend or wife. It's a tiny park in Queen Anne that not a lot of people know about. I would advise anyone who wants an amazing view of the city to come here.

The most awesome view of the city is in a tiny park and sits on the highest hill in Seattle. Very picturesque! A great quiet place where you can enjoy the day and feel inspired by the surrounding beauty.

I also enjoyed checking out this quaint neighborhood with it's beautiful Queen Anne style homes. Parking is not a problem here.

The air up here is amazing. And the view doesn't suck either.

There are lots of tourists, but lots of locals who are obviously on break from work.

Next time I'm in the area I want to come up here at night, but I'd be afraid of falling on my ass on the way up.

When you drive up to see this park, you'd probably think "that's it... that's the park?!"

But hey, it is very cute park and the best of all about it.. you will have a GREAT view of the whole Seattle! It's guaranteed!

You'd be standing or even sitting in the park for hours admiring the view, take bunch of cool pictures.

It doesn't matter what season, cold or hot, just go and enjoy the view of Seattle!!

If you've seen TV news reports live from Seattle, you've been here through the magic of television--yeah, this is the famous vantage point where they usually set up the cameras, the one that makes the Space Needle look like it's right downtown and twice as tall as the skyscrapers.

The Chase sculpture here is gorgeous, and never wears out its welcome, even after appearing in umpteen million photographs and film shots. While it is not quite the success that the Noguchi in Volunteer Park is--it just doesn't have quite the resonant presence--it's still an amazing piece of Seattle public art. Yeah, Noguchi's piece inspired a Soundgarden tune, but that's not the only difference.

Kerry always seems to have parking available, which is bizarre for this neighborhood. On nice nights, you share the park with photographers, tourists, families; all kinds of visitors. On colder nights, you'll often have it to yourselves, or nearly so.

You get a powerful visual spectrum laid out at your feet--grand homes, modest homes, tourist attractions, offices, industry, shipping, and miles of natural scenic splendor. It can take a while to tease apart all the collective human experience on display. You have to sit and sit, letting yourself absorb the different lives lived within ready pointing distance.

Personal histories of every sort have played out on the lands visible from Kerry Park. The Duwamish homeland, the first white settlers who landed on Alki, alpine mountaineers on Rainier, titans of commerce and industry making fortunes, all the rank and file workers who helped build those empires, and all the different home lives built in the different neighborhoods visible from here. And those are only the most obvious players on the stage before you.

Conversely, you might simply content yourself with a standard-issue snapshot that you took yourself, and head home. The park works both ways, and everywhere in between.

Kerry  Park offers without a doubt the best view of the Seattle skyline in the city.

On a nice clear day you can see Mt. Rainier too! The park always has a wedding party taking pictures because everyone knows this is the place for the best picture of Seattle, and its free! Definitely check this place out if you are visiting or are showing someone around. Parking is generally a breeze because most people stop take a picture and leave.

This park reminds me why I'm still here after 4 years. Seattle is absolutely beautiful.

I absolutely love this park. Tho I think its more of an over-look than a park. Best view of the city I believe. I love to come here and just enjoy the view on a nice day or night. And when I have guests from out of town I make sure to take them here so then can take in just how beautiful Seattle is.

People complain about the parking but I've never had a problem finding a place to park. And yes you will most likely find a tourist or two or three I think its great that they get to see Seattle from such a spectacular view.

Who doesn't give this place 5 stars? After 7 years of living in Seattle, I finally made it out to Kerry Park when my friend took her wedding pics here. The view is beautiful and I like the metal sculpture thing in front of it. It was a beautiful day and the moment was pretty much perfect right?

It's a little small but I guess it has that area below the brick wall too. I'll have to come back.

The views at this place are not to be missed.  If I lived or worked nearby, I'd probably bring my lunch here on a nice day and just enjoy the views.

Most photos you see of the Seattle skyline are taken from here.  It's just genuinely gorgeous.  If you're into photography, definitely stop by here when the clouds are gone and Mt. Rainier is in full view.  Or just stop by for some nice night shots of the skyline.

This one of those "take-a-breather" spots.

Not the best idea for your kids though, since the width of the park, from steep hill to street is about 20-30 feet, tops. XD

On a sunny day, I'd definitely visit here and have lunch or something nice.

I don't know if I will call this a PARK! A view point would probably be more proper!

Amazing City view from Queen Ann (I am sure a lot of tourism photos were taken here)! Parking and driving around the hill can suck! But, I just can't resist that view! This is a very romantic dating spot! I remembered when I gave in a kiss to a date here :-)

My first thought as I looked over the view, was "I wonder how many people get engaged here?" It'd made me think of several of my friends who recently got engaged over romantic, scenic viewpoints.

I was also a little tired, considering I walked all the way from Pike Place Market. I then proceeded to get really annoyed at my host, who, after ditching out of work early because he "felt ill," proceeded to bail on me for dinner (opting instead to go to his volleyball league). Mind you, this wasn't a "if you ever come to visit Seattle, let's get together" trip, it was a "I'm a little lonely after moving here, please come visit me" trip.

    Anyways...

The views are breathtaking. Another friend of mine had suggested I come up here, and I'm sure glad he was pretty insistent about it. It was an overcast day in May (big surprise), but it gave the city and the bay this serene-yet-mysterious feeling, especially with some rays of sun peeking through the clouds. It was fun to see local kids having a blast on the play things on the lower level of the park.

I'd definitely love to come back on a sunny day (or clear night), but I'd probably prefer if I had someone to share it with, friend or lover.

This park is tiny - basically a patch of grass by the street with a few benches, BUT it provides a great panoramic view of the downtown Seattle skyline, the Space Needle, and the water.

It can be hard to find parking at times (street parking only), but it's worth it to see the view.  If you can, make a trip during the daytime & again at night!

You know how in the movies, the guy takes a girl to a romantic lookout spot?  Kerry Park is THAT spot.  It's the quintessential park for engagement pictures, wedding pictures, touristy pictures or if you just want pictures of the beautiful Seattle skyline.  You'll get an unobstructed view of downtown Seattle, the Space Needle and Puget Sound.  Walk down some steps and there's a newer playground and a grass field.

Kerry Park - a great park to satisfy both the young and old.

Definitely a must visit if you are in Seattle!  During breakfast, I saw this place on Yelp and asked the hubby if he wanted to check it out and he agreed.  Awesome views of the skyline!  It was still a little foggy but we still were able to see most of the city.  The view of the Space Needle from here is beautiful and the pictures look amazing.  It's a very tiny park so you won't be spending much time here, just a great place to enjoy a breathtaking view.

Picturesque views of Seattle is what you will find at Kerry Park. This is not really much of a park, as it is a viewpoint. It does overlook a more conventional park down below with a jungle gym and basketball court for the kiddies.

The view here is just as lovely as the one on top of the Space Needle without the expense. An awe inspiring place to spend some time and it is not like it is in the middle of nowhere. It is only a few blocks above Lower Queen Anne and a few blocks down from the upper part. Parking might be a bit sparse in the area right in front, but this is not such a big deal if you are willing to walk a little bit further. It is worth it.

Kerry Park is a nice place for tourists to go to take pictures of the skyline to remember their trip to the Emerald City. Whereas for locals, Kerry represents a part of Seattle that makes you feel lucky to live here.

It's a tough park during nice days. Why is it tough? Because you will fight for parking and a vantage spot that's not overrun by tourists and other locals enjoying the views that make Seattleites smile with pride. If you emerge victorious on that clear sunny day,  you'll get to see our skyline with the Needle, Mount Rainier AND the sound all in the same view. Is it worth it? Hell yes. Be patient and find a parking spot then sigh when the sun slips down and the city starts to twinkle.

A must see of Seattle landmarks. This is the spot where most of the beautiful shots of Seattle are taken. Yes, it can be busy, but there are moments when it's not so busy--mid-day weekdays--perfect time for photos. It's also the perfect time to layout in the sun because most people are working.

A narrow little park, particularly notable for it's one sculpture and a panoramic view of the Seattle skyline and seaways (we watched cruise ships arriving) from the Queen Anne viewpoint.  This is strategically placed in a classy old Victorian neighborhood.  A great place to bring a sandwich, a good book, your kids, your dog, and just soak up the karma that is uniquely Seattle.

I've lived in Seattle my whole life, and have never been to Kerry Park. Until tonight.

Like what everyone raves about and from pics, it definitely lives up to expectation and view. It's actually easy to find, and you'll have to find street parking. I came here on a rather chilly evening--even though it was quite sunny and warm during the day. There was still people out, but it was freezing!! I only managed to stay out for 5 minutes before returning to the car to warm up. (If I knew I would be going, probably dressed up a few more layers). I would have loved to stay out for longer.

It's also infamous for where high school kids come to take prom pics. But also couple pics. (I think almost every couple I know has taken a pic there!...now its my turn!) There is this square-circle statue thing that props in the middle & people stand in the middle of it for pictures.

Will have to return near the future for a day view and nighttime too. Summer, please come sooner! After, make way to Pesos down the hill! (or a mani/pedi day at Diamond Nails).
