Review from Fra L.
Durham, NC
My adventure with Kerosky & Associates started in April 2008. We were done on March 31st 2009.
My husband and I went to Christopher for a relatively simple case of family based green card.
As soon as we met him he made a very good impression: friendly ,nice and not that "lawyerish".I'm saying this as a compliment: i don't like lawyers, i don't think that anybody that is not a lawyer actually likes lawyers, but i have to admit that Christopher and his staff are very likable, friendly and more important in their job, knowledgeable.
I think the best thing about Kerosky & Associates are his assistants: Ewa was great and both my husband and I think that Pawel is pretty much the best thing that happened to us since our immigration adventure started: he was great, responsive and honest, he was telling us what he could do for us and what he couldn't without false promises and i can't repeat enough that he was actually responsive, which, let's be honest here, is not one of Christopher best qualities.
Why four stars instead of five?
1) sometimes you would write to Christopher and no answer for like a week, but i would turn to Pawel and in a couple of hours i would have my piece of advice.
2)i had a tiny problem after my adjustment of status, not at all Christopher's fault, just crazy bureaucracy. I needed and additional paperwork to get my passport stamped and leave the country. I turned to Christopher for help,it was a Wednesday and he told me to let him know if i wouldn't have received this piece of paper by Monday, because he could help. Well... I call him on Monday and he told me that he can't actually do anything and we have just to wait. Which it would have been totally fine if he didn't tell me that he could help us in the first place.Bummer.
Overall good/great experience . The prices are reasonable, at least in our case. ($2,500 for a green card based on marriage green card.2 rates $1250 each) The office is super central, on Market in the City, cool place, cool people, I will use Christopher's team again. Plus I discovered that there is a magazine called Super Lawyers, priceless.
