Surprisingly, Kenneth Cole was one of those outlet stores which actually had friendly sales associates, a decent sale and somewhat decent merchandise on display. The store, though small, was neatly laid out, prices clearly marked, and nothing thrown on the floor.
Everything was an additional 36% off for the holidays which meant almost everything was extremely reasonable. Designs were classic, shoes hovered around $70 a pair, even handbags were around that price if not less.
Didn't see anything I liked, but still, it was a pleasant experience trying to find something -- was kinda bummed out though since I was all ready to buy too!
I am not a fan by any means of anything Kenneth Cole, however, my friend was and I no recourse to say otherwise -- she was driving.
In any case, I made the best of it by window shopping while she tried on shoes. Thank goodness for seats reserved for people trying on shoes. I definitely took full advantage of that.
The music level in the store reminded me of A|X where they pump it up nice and loud where a normal conversation quickly becomes a shouting match.
It was entertaining to see the salesperson on a ladder dancing like he was at a club in a go-go cage. Youthful exuberance.
