This is one of those lovely little hole in the walls in town that no one wants to ever admit they know where it is. With all the Marriot's and Holiday Inn's taking over Bothell, I guess I don't blame them.
But, for my 100th review, why the hell not?
Like their close by neighbor, the Wagon Wheel (which is about as big as the Water Wheel btw) they will rent to you on a monthly and weekly basis.
Standard rooms, they all come with microwaves, tv's, and mini fridges (that you stock yourself duh). They are not fancy by any means, but they are clean, very clean. It's a very well taken care of little place.
Some other key points.
Late check in...I'm pretty sure the owner (or some member of his family) lives on site, so you can check in pretty much any dang time ya' want.
They take cash.
They have TONS of little rules, on handwritten signs, ALL over the place. They are hilarious! No pets, keep the noise down, don't leave the lights on...but in the "didn't translate oh so well' language and with super emphasis ...everything is CRISIS!
Queen beds, fairly sturdy headboards.
Walking distance to 8020 Ale House, a mini mart, a porn store, and a bowling alley...good gawd they got it all!
I'd only recommend this place for certain occassions and activities, and I'd probably say it with a raised eyebrow and a hushed voice....but I'd recommend it.
