I live two blocks from here, and walk my dog a few times a week.  Beautiful well manicured landscape, Kelsey Creek runs throughout the property, trains behind the barns go way up into the woods.  This place is a slice of nowhere right in the middle of Bellevue. Kids fairs all the time, sheep shearing.  A wonderful family experience. Horses, Sheep, Goats, Chickens, et all live at the Farm here.

On a recent lunch break at work, I decided to go to Kelsey Creek Park and take pictures and walk around .  I reflected on how I really had not taking advantage of the park when my kids were young as it is a nature amusement park of FUN!

This park is truly a gem, nestled in the heart of a bellevue neighborhood, it brings everyone to a slower pace and has many options for fun for the family.   Sitting on the property are two historic barns and Fraser cabin.  It should be noted that Kelsey creek community park and farm are located in the same spot.    The park offers:
    -Hiking trails
    -Jogging trails
    -picnic area
    -Play area
-animal viewing 9-3:30 each day which is sooo fun for the kids.
    -summer classes for kids
    -volunteer opportunities

Whether it is a fall afternoon and you look at the pretty leaves or it is a summer day and you are enjoying the sunshine, this is a great place to go.
    I will go back soon

I met a friend and her kids at this park.  It was the first time I had gone and it was fantastic.  What a hidden treasure.  You would never even know it was there.  Tucked away in a little residental area is this 150 acre park/farm.  There is plenty of parking and walking into the park the landscaping looks like something that Mr Meagi from Karate Kid would've had in his back yard.  There are little wooden bridges that carry you over the creek.   As you get into the park they have slides and play areas for the kids.  Above the play area is the barn.  Could it get any better?  YES, animals.  They have a rather stinky pig who looks like he is living his life to the fullest taking a mud bath.  There are also chickens, horses and cute little bunnies with long droopy ears.  They have some sort of beehive behind glass that if you turn a switch it reveals the bees all hard at work.  Lots of picnic tables which would be nice in the summer.  There is also a lot to enjoy if you don't have kids.  This is a great place for a romantic stroll.  They have a two mile hiking trail and it looked like a gravel loop for walking or running.  I would highly recommend this place.
