They serve Mitchell's Ice Cream!!!
Yes this place has Mitchell's Ice Cream. My wife and I love the stuff and living in Brunswick we don't have the access to it like we did when my wife was in Westlake.
The service here is always great, greeted with a smile and warmth every time. I really only go for the ice cream, but the place is super clean and cozy inside and has all the making of a good cafe, including crepes. -

Nice, clean, not too worn coffeehouse-like atmosphere on the inside with plenty of tables, couches, and what looks like a stage area for live music, as well as their weekly karaoke. There is outdoor seating as well.
The service was very friendly and considerate, though a little on the slow side. The latte I ordered was a little too hot and had a strange taste to it. In fact, I stayed in the store to drink my latte and so some light reading, and there was a strong scent which resembled well water! Could this be the reason why my latte had a strange taste?
During my visit, they played country music, which for me was a first in any coffeehouse Ive been to. Given that this area is semi-rural, the music seemed more than appropriate.
I don't know about the women's bathroom, but the men's bathroom had walls of black and gold, which was way different than the inside and outside of the store.
Overall a good place, and has much potential. If indeed the water is the reason for the strange taste in my latte, as well as the strange smell in the store, then they need to correct that.Listed in: Cleveland OH area java joints

Holy lucky find, Batman!
I didn't even know this place existed, and when I went in, it basically boasted all of my favorite details about coffee shops in one place. Great coffee and desserts, spacious with lots of different places to sit (including comfy couches, YES), WiFi, scheduled events like open mics and other entertainment, a community bulletin board, a bunch of board games and stuff to read... I kinda just want to move in.
My cafe mocha was delicious, my barista was lovely, and I really enjoyed relaxing and reading in their well-lit shop. On one of their comfy couches.
And the mural in the back is gorgeous.
So check out Insights if you find yourself down here in Brunswick, you'll love it!
