Just watched the 10pm news the day after Halloween when a Seattle Police officer was shot and killed while on duty. This station spent the first twenty minutes of the show giving in depth coverage of a shocking new story. They also had the assistant Chief of Police on the show and he gave some great insight on the case and what happens next for the slain officer's family and the funeral.
This show also has local America's Most Wanted which helps catch local criminals who are loose in our community. Thanks for that KCPQ

Did whatsherface JUST comment that some gal shown in a bar fight scene "should not have her stomach showing" with a scowl? How freaking rude, judgmental, and inappropriate was that? Of course the chick shouldn't have her stomach showing, it was ugly, but hearing that on public news made me want to punch all of Q13 hosts in the face. No wonder they are the worst news station in the area.
Q13 is a JOKE......
Nothing but a bunch of post high school personalities and no name anchors who lack the talent to make it in one of the other local markets.
And Lily Jang just pisses me the hell off...
Fake attitude and forced laughs....
Adam Gerhke is the only one worth watching and he only does the fucking traffic.... he should be in the anchor chair not in front of the fucking green screen.

Here's the thing about Q13's news programs. I'm not saying that the on air talent has no experience... But I don't think it's what got them that job. No no no, as history of that channel has shown us, it's their good looks. I mean look at the current peeps. If I was in highschool I'd have a picture of Parella Lewis in my locker and a poster of Lily Jang in my bedroom wall. I'd buy a drink for Lara Yamada, and of course, if Sprince Arbogast asked me to... I'd run away with her... Even if it's to Newfoundland. And the men? I mean, I wish my smile was as bright as Walter Kelley's, and that my hair was as beautiful as Bill Wixy's. If I thought I could achieve greatness, I'd work to make my body like Dan Devone's. See, they're so beautiful, that when they tell you how you'll be late to work, or about a horrific accident, or a murder... It's ok. They're so beautiful we're entranced by their siren's song. Of course, one problem is that it's not a rarity to catch them saying the wrong thing or making a flub when speaking... But that's ok. We never held that against people like Paul Newman and Natalie Woods. Le sigh. Oh, and the evening news is an hour long meaning we get an extra half hour of Mark Wright's smoothness and Jennifer Cabala's dreamyness.
Ok, so I lied about Newfoundland... But I would totally run away with Sprince to a warmer climate. EEEEEE
