Wanting to send a Thank You to a very gracious hostess, I put in a call to Kathy's - choosing it primarily bcz 1) it was locally owned, 2) the excellent yelp reviews, and 3) the profile of the owner/length of time she's been in business.
Kathy herself answered my call, and was very helpful - making suggestions regarding the vase and arrangement so it would be particularly nice. Despite my call coming in in the middle of the busiest season, she was patient and pleasant.
AND, even though I put in the call at around 3 p.m., she was able to deliver the arrangement the SAME DAY. Try that w/ 1-800, or FTD through the mail!!!
The recipient LOVED the arrangement, as did her dtr, who is an interior designer home visiting for the holidays.
Super service, great job. HIGHLY recommend.
I'm rating it as inexpensive, bcz considering what you get for your money - Kathy's is amazing. -

First, I would recommend you read all of the reviews (and not just the filtered ones) because somehow, the other 1 star reviews are filtered out so I didn't notice this until after I basically helped ruin a friend's birthday.
I was asked to find a florist for someone wanting to send birthday flowers to his wife. I thought I hit the jackpot when I found a local florist with all 5 star Yelp ratings and a Yelp special offer. He paid for the deluxe version of an arrangement which included hydrangeas, his wife's favorite flowers. I excitedly called him at the end of the day to hear all about how she gushed over the flowers and how it totally made her day but instead, I was floored and disappointed to hear how these flowers basically ruined her birthday. When the flowers were delivered, the hydrangeas in the bunch were LITERALLY crispy. I grow hydrangeas so I know those are hearty flowers which last a long time and mine take weeks to dry out so I have no idea how old those flowers were but it's not like they were just a day old. It was her birthday and all she heard were comments about why the flowers were so old. After hearing this all day, she called and spoke to Kathy who did not apologize or seem to feel at all bad for sending dead birthday flowers but did offer to send new flowers out the next day. The flowers which arrived the day after her birthday were alive and looked fine although not "deluxe" by any standards. What a huge disappointment. I'm posting this since I was the one who used Yelp to find this merchant and felt awful for it. This is one time when Yelp really disappointed me and their filtering system seems to be making reviews unreliable. -

My sis bot flowers online for me.
Flowers i received were old, Leaves were more brown then green. color combination and arrangement did look good. Flowers died with in few days. I did ask the delivery lady why flowers look lifeless and why leaves are green, she said they are eucalyptus leaves and thats how she gets them. She can trim them if i like. I was very disappointed. She didn't care and just left. -

You couldn't ask for a better floral design person than Kathy. My family recently experienced the loss of out beloved mother. In the hailstorm of grief and planning for funeral services, Kathy was our guiding light. Kathy's arrangements were beautiful beyond words and very professionally deliverd and staged. My family, friends and I were so amazed how perfect the floral arrangements looked that for a while we forgot our grief. Thank you Kathy you're the best.

Kathy is a really great floral designer! She has a great assortments and can create anything special to your request. She is fast and can deliver with in the tri city area. She always have a smile! Thank you Kathy for not creating those cookie cutter designs that you find on http://flowers.com or 1800flowers. What something unique, Kath's Floral Design is the place.

I've been buying arrangements and flowers from Kathy's Floral Designs for over 14 years and have never been dissappointed. Kathy is a artist. So many florists use a fomulaic flower presentation and they all seem to be somewhat similar. When you buy flowers at Kathy's Floral Designs, you dont get a cookie-cutter presentation. In fact you get a reflectin of your own thought and seniments. Kathy has gotten me out of 'Hot Water' more times that I can count. (If you know what I mean) Kathy is Fabulous ! Dont go to anyone else.
