How does curbside pick up work? Do you call in the order or go online & how long of a wait till the order is ready, please?

Hi Cecelia! We recommend ordering online (you could also call in or use our walk-up window). The online system will tell you what time for pick-up. When you arrive (parking available behind Katalina's off the alley behind Donatos in Clintonville or… more

The only thing that makes me sad about Katalina's is that I don't live in Ohio so I could go every week.
I love everything about this place. The staff was AMAZING, super nice and friendly. The decor is fun. And the food...! The food.
It turns out that fried pancake balls with dulce de leche in the middle are my platonic ideal of a breakfast. Crispy outside, soft pillowy middles, and a LOT of filling. Plus some of the best bacon I've ever eaten.
My partner was feeling more healthy than me and got the avocado toast and migas, which he also raved about. Good crispy toast that held up to a liberal schmear of spiced avocado, fluffy eggs with the chip bits still just a little crunchy, perfect.
And fresh juice! And great iced coffee!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 13, 2024
A popular, corner spot to eat breakfast and brunch in Columbus. They said they have "award winning" breakfast tacos for $16. When you say, "award winning" you obviously have to order it.
Now a CA gal knows her tacos. These tacos were good. You can taste the fresh made corn tortillas. Crema, cotija cheese and avocado made it stand out. I liked the chorizo and egg combo as well. It came with an ear of street corn which was good. Make sure to have clean hands because this could get messy.
It is delicious. Here's my issue, my standards for tacos are pretty high coming from CA. While the taco was good, a $16 price point for 3 relatively small tacos in a paper vessel seems somewhat expensive, especially sitting outside in a cold patio. Maybe $12-13 and I would have been raving about this place. Surprisingly food is just as expensive in Columbus as it is in CA.Helpful 6Thanks 1Love this 6Oh no 0 - Mar 31, 2024
I feel katalona s undoubtedly some of the best breakfast I had Columbus.
The French toast was to die for
I really enjoyed the service. I know they were busy.
The ambience was like hippie, but I really enjoyed like all the drawings on the walls that it made me feel like a retro aspect of a place where use walk up to the plates in orderHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 27, 2024
Great service and I loved the vibe!
I had the Nutella pancake balls and sweet and spicy bacon. The pancake balls aren't super amazing but still good and worth ordering again. The bacon was delicious as well as the coffee. Service was great and staff was friendly!
How cute is the decor! They give you markers to leave your mark. I highly recommend and will return.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 9, 2023
The ambiance is cool but it is very small inside. Seats are pretty limited. They have markers for you to draw or write on their wall and tables.
We ordered their Award Winning Breakfast Tacos, Mexican French Toast, and the Pancake Balls with the apple butter. My bf like the breakfast tacos. I got the Mexican French Toast but to me it just tasted like normal French toast. The pancake balls were ok. It didn't wow us like what I saw on other reviews.
The staff were nice and friendly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 13262971411Mar 13, 2024
Such a cool location! It's especially neat because the interior comes complete with paint markets that you can use to write on the walls, which are covered in graffiti. I tried the BLT tacos, guac, veggie sausage, and blood orange juice a couple of weeks ago.
This spot is mostly a brunch and lunch spot that closes early and has a great patio outside. The inside is small, but noteworthy, as stated.
The tacos and were tasty, served in blue tortillas, and loaded with toppings. I enjojyed the guac-- fresh and with a decent portion size. The veggie sausage almost tasted like real meat. I would order it again. Service was quick, and all items were brought to our table. My one complaint is that the blood orange juice was super acrid and contained a lot of odd additives that I wouldn't have expected, including food coloring. From a place that specializes in such fresh food and local ingredients, I would think the juice would be fresh. Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely eat at Katalina's again if I was looking for a brunch/lunch spot. The menu is extensive and great for vegetarians.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Dec 3, 2023
My wife and I ordered take out and ate it at the park and we both loved our food. We got the chorizo breakfast tacos and the pancake balls. I enjoyed the dulce de leche better than the Nutella ones but she liked those better. The sweet and spicy bacon was really good. We loved the flavor of the tacos. They were so good. I wish we could have gotten a 4th taco, but the corn was really tasty too. I am looking forward to trying more of their menu. It looked great and truly unique.

I'm absolutely obsessed with Katalinas. If you have not been here and you are definitely missing out. They are known for their Nutella filled pancake bites and they are truly amazing. My favorite is the breakfast tacos. The breakfast tacos come with three local Koki's white corn tortillas filled with North Market Spices-infused housemade chorizo, scrambled eggs, housemade tomatillo salsa, avocado, queso fresco, cilantro, Snowville crema & fresh pico de gallo. Served with Elote Mexican Street Corn.
If you come on the weekend, you might have to wait a little bit because they are so popular but trust me it's worth the wait!!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 9, 2023
Rating is 3.5. Parking is very limited so you may have to find some street parking nearby. Restaurant is very small with limited seating. Staff was very pleasant and welcoming. You order at the register and then they bring it out to you. We ordered breakfast tacos, Mexican French toast, and pumpkin-apple butter pancake balls with sweet and spicy bacon strips. Breakfast tacos were the winner here. All of the ingredients were fresh and combined taste was heavenly. Unfortunately, the Mexican French toast and pancake balls were the downfall. Mexican French toast tasted just like conventional French toast just at a higher price. Pancake balls I wanted more of that pumpkin-apple butter filling in each bite. It just wasn't enough. The sweet and spicy bacon was very tasty. Orange juice was very refreshing. Prices are expensive. If you eat inside then you can draw on the tables and walls.

Loved the breakfast tacos here! They were on the crunchy side, in between a soft shell and a hard shell. The portion is a pretty good size with even filling between the tacos. I wasn't a fan of the corn elote since I just don't like cheese on corn. Next time I might try asking for just a regular corn.
The Mexican French toast was wayyy too sweet. The powdered sugar and maple syrup might have been ok on its own, but there was an additional layer of sugar on the bread. It was very much a dessert. Would recommend another savory dish as a "main".Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
