my grandmother gave me her old champagne colored 90 ford taurus (yeah, rockin i know).  i knew i wasn't going to get any money (or not much) so when i got my new car, i donated my old one to kars for kids.  what a good donation!  the even pick it up for you.  you also receive a maximum IRS tax deduction plus a complimentary hotel voucher.  i didn't use the hotel voucher, so don't ask.  but after the whole experience i held my head a little higher.
