127 reviews for Karry's Auto Body Center
One of the Business' Favorite Reviews What's This?
a well-deserved five-star review for a solid, respectable and competent body shop. kudos!
after weeks of frustration dealing with a dealer-affiliated shop, i called karry to deal with my collision damage after receiving a (far-too-belated!) recommendation from a friend in the industry. karry himself answered the phone, and my car was towed to his shop within two hours. the same afternoon, i had an estimate and karry had already ordered parts.
karry himself is available, accessible, and honest. he sets expectations for repair time and cost and sticks to them. his team does excellent work at the estimated price. when I called to thank him, he reminded me that his shop will touch up any paint chips or nicks at no cost.
truly a diamond in the rough, rough landscape of auto repair in SF.
This will be my first Yelp review, and I'm doing this for Karry. I wanted to get the emblem on my front bumper shaved and filled, so I called some body shops and asked for a quote. Karry's quote was very competitive, and given all the perfect reviews he's had on here, I felt safer taking my car to him over another shop with the same price. I'm very glad I did, because he really took care of me. When I got my car back from his shop, it looked great. He even gave me a free car wash and cleaned the inside of my car as well. Then a couple days later, I noticed that the indentation where the emblem used to be had sunken in a bit, and wasn't smooth with the rest of the bumper. I called Karry and told him about the situation, and he explained to me that when the filler material cures (hardens), it flattens out a bit. He then offered to redo it for me, free of charge! This shows that he really stands by his work, and does business ethically.
I took my car back to Karry's shop, and he went to work on it again. He really took his time to make sure I was satisfied; he filled the indentation again, waited for it to cure to see if it flattens again, then filled it another time to make sure it was smooth with the rest of the bumper. He re-did this patiently, despite not getting a dime for it and having a very busy schedule. When I got the car back this time around, the bumper looked absolutely perfect. The indentation was perfectly smoothed out with the rest of the bumper, and it hasn't flattened. To boot, he washed my car and cleaned my interior again! Karry absolutely takes care of his customers and has great business ethics. I have recommended friends to him, and I will definitely come back to Karry for any automobile needs.
This is my first time writing a review on yelp, and I'm doing for the first time because Karry is totally amazing and super friendly. Too good to be true!
I experienced my first accident on Sunday since I bought my car, about 5 months ago. It wasn't a major accident, but the scratches were still very noticeable, and some paint was chipped off. So I went on yelp and tried looking for an honest and cheap auto body shop to repair, hoping nothing too costly over 500$. I first visited 4 of the best reviewed auto repair shops close to my neighborhood, and some of them were friendly but a little overpriced, but others were impatient and also expensive. So I kept looking.
Until I went all the way to downtown (the area with the worst traffic), I found Karry. I didn't have an appointment, and Karry was really busy on the phone and with his customers. But after waiting for less than 5 minutes, he quickly approached me and my friend. He then patiently explained to us different options of repairing the damage, and how much would those options approximately cost. He spent a good 15min minutes talking to us regardless how busy he was. However, I still couldn't really decide because I didn't know much about cars and repairs, so he suggested to polish it for me, and see how satisfied with the result.
So he told one of his worker to polish for me. Not to my surprise, his worker was also very efficient and hard working. Most of the scratches came off; only left with very unnoticeable paint chips. I was so happy with result! But when I asked him to ring me up, he wouldn't charge me a dime! I insisted on paying, but he insisted on not getting any money from me. So I drove off feeling really bad! Till now I still feel extremely bad. Karry's service and work were astonishing. He is so awesome!!!
i drive a funny looking, kind of rare car...so alot of places had to get the part shipped. karry was able to get my window the next afternoon and install it. efficient, and to the point. i was in and out.
to top it off, karry had quoted me an already low price, but the window ended up costing his 30 bucks more. and believe it or not, he ate the cost. and gave me his original quoted cost. any dealer you know that will do that for you? i think no
Karry's is a great shop. I took my Jetta there for a tune up and he personally test drove it before and after, noting in great detail anything he found to be out of sorts and the maintenance he performed. After I picked it up we had a detailed discussion about my car and he gave me some good advice for taking better care of it. Also, for the first time in my tune up history, my car was running noticeably better than before I took it in. His prices were fair as well. I definitely recommend this place to anyone for any type of service...
For someone who cares about their car and the service they are getting, it is like night and day between the VW dealer and Karry's shop.
2nd time I had service done there and it was once again excellent.
He always gets you the best deals on parts and the service is fast and great.
The five stars are well deserved.
Karry is honest, friendly and gets the job done on-time for a good price.
I had a dent on my rear bumper. Karry took a look and asked "how perfect do I need it ?" For $450, he can get it back to perfect shape, good as new. For just $80, he would pop the dent back out and while not perfect, it would look almost as good as new.
I took the 2nd option. The repair took less than an hour. The results look great. I saved $370.
As a bonus, Karry gave me some touch-up paint for some minor scratches I had on my front bumper. Free.
I originally got an estimate for $1400 from another place for replacing a bumper and a left quarter panel.
Kerry saved me about $800 by recommending that we didn't need need to replace the bumper, and he spent a couple hours straightening it out.
Karry was really easy to work with, he helped reduce the cost and did an excellent job with a quick turnaround time.
There is a piece of heaven waiting for Karry and the folks at his Auto body shop! Karry took care of all the interactions with State Farm Insurance and took the hassle out of dealing a ding.
It's no wonder they are rated so highly here - great service is impossible to substitute.
Another satisfied new customer.
I found this place thru yelp
It's hard to have so many reviewers and still get 5 stars
Now I know why
Brought it in on Monday afternoon last week. He know exactly how the process would be like, and told me he should have insurance approval by Thursday
Indeed, on Thursday of last week, got a call from Karry that everything's approved, he's ordering part. It should be done following mid week or end of week
Yesterday, I got a call, again from Karry, that work is done
I picked up the car today. Everything is in pristine condition.
When I drop the car in, it was a mess. Dusty inside. Hella dirty outside
And now, whole car washed, interior wiped clean.
He even helped me buff out a scratch on the side mirror housing, which I DID NOT requested
Extremely friendly guy, easy to talk to.
No wonder everyone is satisfied with him.
It's never easy to find a good and reliable body shop, but I just found one!
Karry was great to work with, did lots of extra things to make the car even better and worked with my insurance company! He's the only collision center I'd ever work with in SF. Incredibly accomodating! Thank you!

It started on a Sat morning with me hitting part of a fence in my parking garage. Felt like an idiot… Read more »
I roll in with $7,000 of damage, and a sour attitude. Karry fixed my car, and, on top of that, he fixed some other preexisting damage for a great rate. When the insurance adjuster recommended cheaper parts, Karry took the cost upon himself to get higher quality pieces.
Not only that, after all was said and done, I asked Karry about some odd rumbling I had heard in my car. On his own dime, he has a mechanic take a look and fixes the problem right up in 1 day!
What can you say? No wonder this guy has 100+ 5 star reviews.
Not going to go to Kerry's again. The first time I went, my car was vandalized, badly. every window was broken, my side mirror was taken off and my car was keyed. I look it to Kerry's and got my car back with some kind of residue on the car that would not wash off.
I decide to take it back to Kerry's to have them fix this, but as luck would have it, my car was vandalized again. This time only 2 windows were broken and a few dings on the door. So, since I was going to have Kerry remove the residue from the car anyway, I might as well have let him fix the windows and dents caused by the little $h!ts. Big mistake. What should have been a one week job turned to almost a month. I mean, one month to fix 2 windows and remove 2 dents? I received the car back missing the trunk net, and huge pieces of glass still embedded between the seats. Flash forward 3 months to today, I receive a letter from my insurance company stating Kerry wants an additional amount of money for the sub-par work done on the car. Yeah sure, its the insurance company that is taking the hit, but charging an additional sum on top of the already absurdly overpriced original amount(Labor was roughly 10 times the cost of the parts) is just wrong. The term "you get what you pay for" absolutely does not apply with this shop, it's more of a you don't get what you pay for kind of deal.
RIGHT ON! My mechanic recommended Karry and the great ratings here were the clincher to get my poor busted car in for repair.
The front of my car got crunched while it was parked on the street. Thank heavens the person who did the damage left a note...Anyway all the glowing reviews are totally right. They did a great job with my car, had reasonable rates AND were totally straight up with me about what needed to be done. Karry even called the guy who hit me to explain the repairs and costs. There was even a part that they forgot to put on the estimate but installed anyway at no charge. I picked up my car on the date they said it would be ready AND it was totally scrubbed clean and shiny. DANG! That is awesome.
Having your car get crunched sucks, knowing that these guys are honest and on their game was a big relief.
THANK YOU YELP!!!!!! WOW, I'm so impressed and still in complete shock that my beat up car was dropped off on Monday morning and ready to pick up Thursday evening. Karry is AMAZING!!!! He is extremely professional, knows his shit, and gets it done so quickly!!!! Thank you thank you thank you Karry for everything you did. Insurance companies are crap and treat you like dog shit, but Karry makes it all that much better.
My car is pretty again!!!!
My car ignition got locked in the middle of the night on Friday night. I called AAA and they weren't able to fix it. They said i have to get it towed to a repair shop... So i started my Saturday morning by yelp-researching auto shops within 5 miles of where my car got stuck (that's how much towing AAA would cover). To my disappointment, almost all shops were closed on Saturdays...
I stumbled across Karry's that was the only place i could find open until 1pm on Saturdays. The reviews looked great so I called them right away and explained my problem... I told the guy there I'm waiting for a tow truck so i might be a little late. He said it was no problem and he would wait for me. He was very friendly and professional and sounded so genuine like he really cared and wanted to help. He even suggested i try to do this trick on the car, but i said I had tried it... Eventually, my AAA tow truck came, and the driver who came this time was able to fix the issue, so i ended up not needing to go to Karry's. But i know for a fact, after the great customer service experience i had with them, i will definitely be going there next time my car needs repair! I am really glad i found this place, because next time i won't have to waste time looking for one. Thank you Karry's for your awesome customer service!!
Karry's stats:
5 stars - 93
4 stars - 6
1 star - 1
Karry is an anomaly in his industry.
Every time I get my car worked on I end up telling the guy who's trying to swindle me to "hold on." At that point I grab my phone, dial my dad, and tell them to try their b.s. on someone who knows' what he's talking about.
For the first time in my life I didn't have to call my dad.
Karry was completely trustworthy, professional and mindful of working with MY schedule.
His attention to detail was obvious when I gave him my keys and headed toward the door. Before I could get 2 feet he called me back and asked me if I needed the house key that I had left on the key ring. Duh yes.
Most importantly Karry's price was fair, and dear God, when I picked up my car, the price that he quoted was what he actually charged me!
You've got a customer & shameless promoter for life!
I came here because some dummy vandalized my s2k and left a huge dent on my driver side door. I search on yelp to find a place with great reviews and found karry's. The ratings correlated with the work that was done on my car. Karry is a nice dude, was quick, and tried to give me a good estimate. My insurance was paying for it so it didnt really matter. When I saw my car it was like it had never been dented, A+ work! Karry also said that he would do touch-ups like scratches and nicks at not cost!
Karry Man is the MAN (and owner of Karry's Collision Center). I drove in asking for an estimate on a dent and paint damage on the side of my car. He gave me a very reasonable estimate (much less than my dealership), but at this time I am not able to pay for it. I asked, though, how much it would be to just fix the paint. He said, no problem, I will just buff it out for you right now! I asked how much and he said, NOTHING. Karry and another guy did it all in about 5 minutes. I then asked what car wash he suggests and he said, no problem, we can wash it, again for FREE. He was so nice and obviously very accommodating. I asked to at least tip his guys and he refused. Instead I chose to write this review and pass out his business cards to people in my office.
There is no doubt in the future, when I have the cash, I will be going back to get him to fix my dent. Hopefully real soon! Thanks Karry and your Team!
Karry's is the best!! Very pleased with the repair work done on my SUV. I think all the other reviews speak for themselves. Highly recommended! Thanks Karry.
Wow wow wow!! I saw all the stars and thought "no way could they live up to that." But they did. They totally did.
My car's been a bit of a mess. And with no money and no time, I've had to let it ferment in the worst way, watching helplessly as it falls apart piece by piece like it has leprosy. But the worst of it was when my sunroof stuck open. Just before rainy season.
Now I'm moving my terrarium on wheels to another state. Still no time or money to fix things proper, but I at least wanted to get the sunroof closed, if not repaired, if not replaced, then at least closed so it wouldn't leak so bad. So I came to Karry's with no appointment, in the middle of a frantic pre-move day, and pleaded "Do something!"
Anyone in the last days before an interstate move knows the stress one can be under. Karry (or whoever the guy behind the desk was - I regret I didn't get his name) jumped up to help, looked over everything, cleaned out the rails of my sunroof, diagnosed the problem, and finally got it to close despite being (1) broken and (2) off its track. His bill? $Zero. $Nada. $Zip. $Nothing. I wanted to throw buckets of money at him, or at least a little sliver of plastic, but he just waved me off with a smile.
To be honest, I got a little tear in my eye as I drove away. You just don't find kindness like that in the city nowadays. Or at least I didn't think you did. I'm genuinely touched. Especially on a day like today, this place is a godsend. I only regret that I can't give them my business from this day forward.
I'm still wrapping my head around Karry's Auto Body because I read the great reviews-- I went had an estimate-- it was a great estimate, well worthwhile-- they ordered the parts-- a day later I went in and waited half an hour for them to fix my car. Plus-- they washed it for me!
I was skeptical about how fabulous Karry's could be, but I trusted Yelp and I am really glad that I did. I had to fix my low riding bumper that I personally f--ed up all by myself. Yup, I had it repaired from a previous incident at another shop (which was covered by my insurance and was also very good but pricey). I think it was less than six months after the repair when I flipped out while stuck in morning Octavia onramp traffic (I was mentally unprepared for gridlock, not being a regular commuter) and literally tried to off-road my Corolla over a curb. The crunch of my plastic bumper was loud and shaming.
Yea, so when said part of the bumper finally fell off, again on the streets of San Francisco, I was forced to deal with my car because now the fender liner was grinding against my tire. I knew this wasn't a good time to lay down cash, but I couldn't drive around like that.
Karry's estimate was very fair, but the labor discount for not going through insurance was what really made it reasonable enough for me to take care of. Not only that, but in the short interactions I had with Karry, it is difficult to make a good impression, but he was always polite, professional and prompt. I was lucky because no paint was required (I am sure that helped the price), but I will still impressed. The thing that really sold me on the 5 stars was his offer to wash my car (I said it looked great, but could use a wash) and the really thorough wash that one of the workers gave it.
Thanks for the great service Karry! Keep up the good work.
Karry's Auto Body is GREAT and really reasonable ($$$-wise). Karry is incredibly easy to deal with, professional and what's most important (in my book) is that he's super FAST. My side-mirror was damaged yesterday morning. I brought in my car that afternoon, the part was ordered, delivered TODAY and the whole thing was completed (beautifully) in 20 minutes. Who can beat that? I love this place and can't recommend them high enough.
What a class act! Hands down best auto repair experience ever:
Our car had a variety of errant-shopping-cart-related dents and scratches. After foolishly getting these dents "repaired," by a random guy at a gas station, who fixed them by creating holes in the car and pulling the dents out, we went to Karry's. A great experience from the start: he was thorough and upfront about what needed repairing and how much it would cost; he was flexible about drop off time, and he was a huge help with making our insurance claim. We got our car back six days ahead of schedule, the exterior is looks like new, the interior of the car has been polished and vacuumed, and the work cost us less than we thought it would, and much less than we were quoted at other shops. We are so happy with our experience at Karry's: we would return in a heartbeat and recommend this great business to anyone who needs body work. Thanks Karry!
My 2001 VW Passat Wagon was rear-ended and after doing my research, I went to Karry's. Not only did he provide a free estimate (damage to the bumper and lift gate), he worked with the other party's insurance adjuster to agree on costs. Karry called me to let me know when he would start work on my car and also let me know he thought it would take a week to get the repairs done. Lo and behold, a week later my car was fixed and ready to go. As soon as I saw my car, I knew I had made a great decision in choosing Karry. The bumper was brand new and the lift gate looked spectacular; I can't remember when the car looked so nice! It was clean and spotless too and at no extra charge. What's even better is that there's a lifetime guarantee for his work and he even painted over some scratches on the front bumper too --- at no cost! Karry let me know additional damage was found after he removed the bumper, but he worked with the insurance company to get it fixed. No hassles for me at all; simply superb! Karry handled everything for me.
Karry is absolutely amazing. I hope none of my friends have the unfortunate circumstance of being involved in an auto accident, but if they do, I'm totally recommending they go to him. He's honest, fair, and just a nice guy --- you can't find people (or shop owners) like him these days!
Good lookin' out, yelpers.
Some yahoo in a Land Monster blew past me on the GG bridge, drove over an errant yellow plastic divider and launched it like a missle at my shiny new car leaving no dents but an awful mark. The guys at Tower Car Wash couldn't get it out and told me I'd have to find a body shop so onto Yelp I went. Y'all said go to Karry's so I did. It's kind of manic in there with cars in various states of demolition and repair nearly stacked on top of each other. The staff is very friendly and Karry is The Man. He immediately recognized what looked like clear coat damage to everyone else was actually plastic more or less melted/tranfered onto the finish. He took a few minutes out of what appeared to be an incredibly busy day to buff out the plastic with some mystery goo - all for no charge.
So that's my one freebie - from Karry and from the karmic deities that control the bad shit that happens to rides. Next time the gods surely won't let me off so easy. At least I know where to get my car fixed.
I recently took Jezebel my 2yo Jetta here after a 92-year-old lady changed lanes into my parallel-parked car.
(BTW, I'm not even joking about that age, I took a camera pic of her driver's license. Apparently, her DL got renewed 6 months ago but, to quote her, "that doesn't mean I know how far right is right"... but I digress.)
My insurance company told me I could get work done at any shop and it would all be taken care of so after looking at Yelp, I went for Karry's.
I showed up one afternoon w/o any sort of appointment but Karry was right there to discuss the damage with me, which consisted of a scratch across both driver's side doors, damage to the front and rear panels and a torn tire as well as a damaged wheel rim. I left the car with him and the entire time it was with him, he was easy to communicate with about what was going on with both the insurance company and the car. When it was finally done, he stayed an hour and a half after closing so that I could pick it up before the weekend. When I did get it back, the inside was detailed and the work made Jezebel look almost brand new. He even buffed out and covered up some other, unrelated scratches for no extra charge.
I seriously owe this man a bottle of his favorite alcohol. If only there were a socially appropriate way to obtain that information....
I broke the glass of the side front mirror, and had to pay $48 just to replace the glass. When I got a quote from the Mitsubishi dealership, they told me it would cost $65 to replace. Outraged by the price, I just bought the part and went in search for a body shop that would be more reasonable. After seeing the fantastic reviews of Karry's Auto Body Center I gave Karry a call. I explained the situation. He told me it would be 10 minutes worth of work, and to just come. As expected, they did a fabulous job, and he didn't charge me a cent. I even tried to tip for their time, but he refused. The customer service at this place is fantastic. I strongly recommend Karry's. He now has a customer for life.
I used to take any body work to Kim's Auto Body at 1728 Folsom. However, the owners retired and was taken over by Tommy's Auto Body. I took my car a few times there, but I felt that they were a little flaky and started to look for someone else. I started by looking on Yelp.
My 1999 Subaru Legacy was in need of a complete paint job. We had purchased this car as a salvage and the previous owner slapped an Earl Scheib type paint job on it. It started to flake a couple of months after we had the car. We went to several places and I really like Karry's attitude and explanation of what needed to be done. They were busy at the time and gave me a rough estimate of 2 weeks to 2 months to have my car repainted. Since I was in no hurry, I agreed. The price was comparable to several other places, though some places in Daly City wanted 50% more.
After 5 weeks, I received my car in beautiful condition. The only downside was that the workers were a little sloppy in washing the car as my spare tire compartment (the trunk) was drenched. But, I took it home and dried it out. Karry's will be my body shop to go to in the future. By the way, the owner is Karry Man.
I agree with the other 5 star ratings. Karry is very competent, straight-forward and honest. I approached him, after looking at all the great reviews, to help me with my situation. My Mitsubishi was dented and insurance was not covering. Karry gave me a great quote and also did a great job on my car. Thanks to Karry I didn't have a dent in my pocket! Wish him good luck with everything!
Best auto repair in SF. I went to 3 different places. Karry did the best work for the lowest price. He even did more work on my BMW X5 but keep his promise on the initial estimate. If I need auto repair this is the only place I will go from now on. Thanks Karry.
I cannot rave enough about the amazing job that Karry did with both my Mercedes SL 500 and S550. The SL had a badly cracked front bumper. Not only was the cost to repair less than half the cost of replacing the bumper, but Karry's did such a fantastic job that it is impossible to tell that it was ever damaged. I am very particular about this car, since I love it so much, so it was very important that the repair was done perfectly. They were also very speedy (took 2 days to complete the work) and customer service oriented (gave me a ride to an appointment I had that was in the neighborhood). Karry even investigated and fixed a tire pressure problem that I was having and now everything is perfect.
My fiancee had an accident in his S550, which damaged the car's rear bumper, tail-light and moldings. Again after the work was completed, you could not even tell that anything had ever happened to the car. Beautiful work and done in a couple of days. My fiancee is even more particular about his car than me and he could not stop praising Karry's.
The piece de restistance was that Karry's also washed both cars prior to pick-up, which made for a terrific finishing touch.
I cannot recommend Karry's enough. Karry Man the owner is so incredibly customer service-oriented, knowledgeable and timely. He generated a detailed quote on the spot which perfectly matched the ultimate cost of the repairs. His pricing is very fair and the the work that his shop does is superb.
After reading all the reviews, I went here and I was not disappointed. He did a great job and actually did a bit more at no additional cost! As other people have said, Karry is great.
After reading reviews about Karry's Auto Body Center, we brought our Honda Accord to Karry to get a large dent in the door fixed and several other smaller dents. The door was hit by a bumper of a SUV going no more than 5MPH, but the damage was pretty significant. Anyway, we visited him on a Friday to get a quote. Karry told us that if we dropped off the car on Monday morning, he could have it back to us by Friday. We dropped the car on Monday morning and the car was ready by the end of the day Friday.
Karry and his team did a great job. The car looks great and the process was painless.
The only minor issue was that there was a minor electrical glitch after he returned the car to us on Friday. The doors automatically locked when the key was in the ignition (this is not a normal behavior). We got locked out of the car and had to grab our spare keys to get back into our car. Luckily we were at home when this happened. We went back to Karry on Saturday to ask him take a look at the problem. He told us that it would take about an hour or two to remove the panels of the door and check the connections. About two hours later, he called us to tell us that the car was ready to go.
We got the car back and there have been no problems since.
Thanks Karry!
In, out, cheap... if I came up with any more metaphors for how good this place is, I'd come dangerously close to describing some of SF's finest, uhh...ladies of the night. Eh hem.
I had a long list of "minor" things wrong with my car that was revealing its slow decline from hipster-mobile to bonafide hooptie: my passenger-side window didn't roll down (much to the dismay of whomever sat in the passenger seat on a hot day) and I had resorted to using various contraptions to hold up the car's hatchback since the hydraulic thingy-ma-bobs had failed. Not too mention my windsheild squirter no longer squirted, requiring me to clean my windsheild by the ol' "water bottle through the sunroof" method. That one was always interesting to explain to friends.
It occurred to me that I didn't need a mechanic, I needed an auto body shop to help my ailing Acura. I found Kerry on Yelp, called, and within 30 minutes had my car in the shop and was on my way to the office for the day. 6pm comes and I'm out of the office and on my way to pick up my car, with all its quirks and not-so-endearing personality flaws ironed out.
Do you know how excited I was by the quick and easy job Kerry made of it? Yes indeed, boys and girls, I was so excited that I drove all the way home with BOTH windows open (for the first time in 6 months!), music bumping, yelling "Holla!" Ok, maybe not the "holla!" part, but goddamn, it felt good to have my car back to a non-hooptified status again.
Thanks Karry... Holla!
Karry's is fantastic. Good price. Great work. Quick. Professional. Accommodating. The estimated price was the actual price I paid!
This place is great! Hands down, best prices & best work on my car. I came in for an estimate on Monday, Karry promised me the car by Thursday afternoon. I received the call that made my day on Wednesday--saying that my car was ready! Awesome, awesome, awesome!
I had to visit these guys again the past few weeks because the lock mechanism thingamajigger in my driver's side door broke and wouldn't open any more.
Again, they picked me up to get my car when I needed to, and also didn't charge me any labor! It was a pain to get the parts for this car since it's old and things are either discontinued or on backorder... but they got the job done.
Yay! I'm a fan.

My car was involved in a hit and run over night. I woke up and saw that my car had been smashed. Needles to say, I was pissed.
Then, realized it was time to search an auto body center. I got 2 recommendations from Toyota, since I had JUST purchased my 2008 Toyota Yaris. For some reason, I was skeptical about their recommendations, so I came on yelp and found Karry's Auto Body Center and saw the great reviews.
So, I called in, he said he would be q

I brought my car in to get some body work done- some dents and scratches that've been bugging me, and Kerry did an awesome thing: he told me to not get them fixed.
"This is a city car, right? Little scratches and dents are normal. If you're gonna get a few dents taken out, you might as well get everything fixed."
Which is amazing. Having my little vanities put into such sharp contrast with the realities of finance and city living saved me a little chunk of change.
Also, when I mentioned that I've been driving around SF with the little rubber strips that came off the side of my car, he reattached them for free.
