I have been enjoying the wine tour for a few years now. I have heard Karma Vista was "sobish" and the service was not good. Much to my surprise I LOVE IT! My friend and I went on a Monday and did a tasting with a very informative and nice server.
I found the wines very good. They have a wide selection from sweet to dry there is a wine for everyone.
The Starry White is very good! The wine prices are great and they also have a great selection of gifts.
    Stop by and enjoy!

Nice tasting, they mostly all say six free but they don't really count.  I mean we didn't taste like 10 or anything, but likely 7 and could have had another but they weren't getting better.  I guess if u are there alone they might count to six.

The place is nice and whites are good, but reds...they I just don't think they have it right.  :(.  The shop is very cute and the staff was relatively friendly.  The pours are very slight, barely tasting...not like the other 3 wineries we visited this weekend.  I'm not looking for a half glass, but I should be able to get 3 decent tastes from one taste of wine to decide.

Read the reviews here.  Go and decide for yourself.  The other winery in Coloma we stopped at prior we bought 1/2 case, here we got 2 bottles.  I was skeptical walking in.  Looking at the large group of ladies leaving to get their Hummer Limo, seeing a max of two bottles in hand....but I was glad we stopped here last.  I love giving everyone a try.  We had already spent $200 at three other wineries this weekend and werent afraid to spend more.  As others said Starry Starry is very good as was Watusi.  We left with just two bottles.

This winery was fine, but I didn't love it like some of the others on the wine trail.

Tasting was free, which was always nice. I tasted Starry, Starry White, Watusi Red, Pink Side of the Moon (their first sparkling wine), and their Riesling. The only one I thought was good was the Starry, Starry White, which is a light, sweet wine wine that's perfect for the table when having guests over for dinner.

I was a bit disappointed that I didn't enjoy most of the wines I tasted. At the other vineyards, I had trouble picking my favorites, but here, there was only the one that was enjoyable.

I know wine is personal preference, so just because I didn't like most of the wines doesn't mean someone else doesn't.

The grounds themselves are pretty, and the employees were friendly. There also was a nice outdoor area, but we couldn't use it due to the rain.

My absolute  favorite winery in Berrien County! Some of the best whites I've ever tasted. It actually angers me to read reviews about people not enjoying the wine. This place is gorgeous and there are so many other things to do in the area (i.e. Grandpa's Cider Mill, the chocolate factory, Karma Vista Vineyards, and Paw Paw Lake.)

Hands down one of our favorite wineries to visit when we vacation in the area. Not because it is the greatest wine we ever tasted, but because these wine growers have approached their passion with a sense of humor. Obviously these guys grew up with the best music ever, and have even named their wines after some of it. The wines themselves are ok, some better than others, nothing to be ashamed of, but for the area, good stuff. We enjoy bringing friends here, one for the view and two for the friendly attitude of the folks who work here. Their Ryno Red is a great wine to make Sangria from, by the way!

This is probably my favorite winery in southwest Michigan.  The location is very pretty, the wines are pretty tasty (even if the names are a little silly), the tastings are usually administered by the owners (who are super helpful if you chat them up), and they have some other fun wine and cheese related things you can purchase as well.

I am a little confused about calling their pours stingy- I have never noticed that to be a problem.  I think they are pretty generous- Also, I am pretty sure you are getting a free taste of their wine... Not a glass of wine to enjoy for free.  The pour is enough to determine whether or not you like the wine enough to purchase a bottle (or more!)

If you like the sweeter things in life- I would suggest a bottle of Razzmatazz and the chocolate shot "glasses."  Super delicious.

We went to this new vineyard over in Michigan and really enjoyed our tasting. The white wines here are quite good, and a few of the reds are OK. I really never understood why these cold temperature vineyards here in the Midwest have not adopted the Zweigelt grape (red, dry, like Pinot Noir) developed in Austria which is pretty good at growing in colder climates. The micro-climate of Coloma, MI would be good for this grape.

We brought our own cheese and crackers, and after trying several of the wines bought a few glasses and sat on the patio and enjoyed the view of the rolling hills of Southeastern Michigan. We packed a few bottles of white wines and a bottle of Cabernet Funk (good) and drove back to Chicago. Well worth it if you are staying in the Michigan shore area.

Went on a Saturday with 8 other people.  Beautiful building at the top of a hill.  Went at the beginning of May so the grapes weren't growing yet, too bad, because the view would have been amazing.

You walk in and the tasting/bar area is on the left, it was very large and nice looking.  In front of the entrance and to the right are cute little wine gifts and trinkets.

Tastings are free with a maximum of 6 tastings a person.  At first the pours seem stingy, but all wine tasting pours are that small.  If you just sip to get the flavor, it's enough of a pour.  The owner served us, he was very very nice and informative and offered great selections.

I prefer sweeter wines myself and we bought 4 bottles - Watusi Red, Starry Starry White, the Cherry wine, and also the Razz m Tazz (yummy!!!).  Everything was very reasonably priced - an average of probably $10/bottle.  Not bad for wine from a local vineyard "freshly" made!

They have a nice deal - buy 12 bottles and get 10% off your order.  They let us combine our purchase with the other people in our party on separate checks - very accomodating!  We visited Contessa just down the road and thought Karma Vista was much better (service, wine quality, wine selection and prices)

I honestly think that of all the wineries we've been to in Michigan, this is one of my favs.

It sits atop a hill, so the view is amazing. We wanted to sit on their back deck all day and just take in the view and country air.

The wines are actually pretty good! I was rather skeptical because of the cheesetastic names (cha cha chardonnay?), but I was really surprised. The tasting bar is spacious, and offers six free tastings. I have to disagree with the first review. I thought the pours were pretty standard, and enough to give me a good idea of the flavor and body of the wine.

We ended up leaving with a bottle of the Ryno Red, even though the (award winning and pricey) Stone Temple Pinot was my fav (we're trying to be good seeing as we're saving for a wedding).

But I would definitely come back to Karma Vista without hesitation next time we're in Southwest Michigan.

I love the name.  I love the decor.  I love the fun little wine purses that they sell here.  I love the location.  I love the view.

The only problem?  I did not love the wine.  In fact, I don't even think I liked the wine even a little bit.

But, the good news is that the tastings are free and all of us have different preferences so go check it out anyway.  You might like it.

Views are amazing from the hilltop.
    Wines are ok, not great.
Tastings are free, but the pours are stingy - they barely give you enough for one sip.  I would not run a winery like that.  I would rather pay for a decent pour than feel like a beggar asking for seconds.

I have been to many wineries in Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Virginia, Pennsylvania etc. Tasted sooooo many wines and I would have to say the Starry Starry White  at Karma Vista is my all time favorite wine. I only wish they would ship out of state. They have a variety of very good wines but the Starry Starry White rates number one for me.
This winery is DEFINETLY worth the trip!!
GREAT JOB ON YOUR WINES KARMA VISTA!!!!

Very friendly tasting bar. The Ryno Red and cherry wine were beautiful. Very busy but good service. As a wine novice, I found the staff to be very helpful and encouraging. I got to taste some good wine and I learned a few things too. This will be a regular stop on the way to/from the lake.
