I followed Tanya and will continue to follow her. She understands curly hair like no body I've ever met. The first time she cut my hair friends actually noticed my hair. She is a curl genius! She takes her time but doesn't waste time either.
When I first walked into Karma, I was immediately charmed by the positive energy I flet. It's clean and airy and you do not feel like you are in a "hair place". It feels like an upscale salon but it is reasonably priced.
Seriously, if you have curly hair, go see Tanya and Karma. You will thank yourself! She does not push product on you but will tell you what she thinks is good for your type of curl.
EDITED: Tanya is not here anymore. She is at the Peacock Tales on S. Lamar. I go where she is. :) -

Wherever Kelley is cutting hair, I'm there. Before her, I never truly enjoyed my hair. She always gives me something fun, flirty, and feminine. Since switching to her as my stylist, I have gotten constant compliments on my cut. Constant. I recommend her to all of my friends and the smart ones who have heeded my advice always come back raving their respects.
The quality of haircuts is phenomenal and the prices a complete steal. My haircuts here are consistently better than my failed trial at Pink (or Baldwin Beauty School... dark days indeed). I swear, you'll never look back. -

I have been going to Kelley to get my hair cut and styled for years. She did my prom style back when I was 18 (over 5 years ago) and recently has been helping me figure out the best way to style my long, but stubborn, hair. She always greets me with a hug and listens to exactly what I would like. She is kind, professional, and flexible. I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic stylist.

Meet the Business Owner: Kelley D.
Hair is my passion.
I graduated from beauty school in 2003 and have worked in a handfull of different salons here in Austin, I've done hair and makeup for weddings, musicals, photoshoots, ACL festival, even a short film! I really love what I do so it only made sense for the next step to be opening a salon.
I would say that I specialize in updos, fantasy styling, and braiding, but I also love cutting mens & womens hair.
