Say what you will about the Royals.... but I love them. I am a die hard Oakland fan begin that I am from the East Bay, but moving here I had to support my home team.
Yeah they suck... yeah they're not consistent.... but damn they put on a good show. The stadium is fun, the fans are great and the fact that you can get cheap tickets just makes it better.
If you're not a real baseball fan and you want to see a great team, this may not have all the bells and whistles you are looking for- but if you love baseball, and love sitting outside in the sun watching America's past time- this is it!

I had never seen the Royals play before this past season other than on television and that was years ago. I finally got my chance this past summer when the Rockies were in KC for 3 games. The Royals are a young team and have had trouble finding the right mix of talent and management to make them into a competitive team each year. But I give it to them they did sweep the Rockies all 3 games I was there. The Royals deserve better fan support than they are currently getting from a city with a great baseball history.
