5/10/08: Awesome golf course, holes 13 and 14 are probably on of the best here in Hawaii - incredible scenic vistas - imagine hitting of a tee box where there are waves crashing on the beach and reef right next to you. Very windy which makes the course much tougher, especially on some of the par three's that are straight into the wind.
19th holes (aka "Fairways") serves beer by the pitcher and a wide variety of food. All at great prices (and tax free since this is a marine base). You'll need someone in the armed services to make tee-time reservations here and also get access to the base.
IF yyou can get on base and play this course, DO SO. The course is in great condition, greens are some of the best in the state. The views on the back nine ( 13, 14, 15) are outstanding. Stay in the fairway to score well. Staff is friendly and helpfull, practice area is good. Course is usually windy. Overall a good experience and a course that can be played day in and day out.
