This morning I woke up to a freshly smashed window and a stereo-less Malibu.  The cd player was seven years old and mostly broken, so I was more upset about having to replace my passenger-side window.  Thank goodness Kammerer was nearby my workplace and got me in right away. (That sounds like a bad local commercial for an auto body repair shop... I apologize.)

The guy that helped me, Jeff, was very courteous and very helpful.  It was one of the first times I walked into an auto repair shop without feeling intimidated.  He gave me a quote for the work when I asked for it and it seemed comparable to what other body shops would charge.

When I got my car back this evening, I discovered that not only had they cleaned up all the glass, they also vacuumed the interior and cleaned my dash and console.  To top it all off - they gave the exterior a thorough wash.  My car never looked so pretty... yet sounded so sad.  Alas, I shall have to wait until I get a new cd player to rock out to Hanson.

At least my window looks good.
