The other day, I had a little time to kill before going to a dental appointment and Kami's sandwich board on Sansom Street caught my eye...

Lunch special from 11:30 to 3, 2 rolls & miso soup for $9, or 3 rolls & miso soup for $13.00!

There were 8 choices for rolls or 7 if you eye the california roll with disdain as I do...(I mean, I'll eat it if its included on a platter, but won't order it outright...)

I sat a the counter facing Sansom Street and was able to people- watch whilst being served gracefully by the staff...I plan on returning soon and trying the rest of the extensive menu...

I have never been here, only ordered delivery. However, I must say that they really make a mean roll. I don't know if there's anything to look at inside, especially given the "Express." Plus, I'm pretty sure they're playing off of the age-old sex book with the title, which is equally classy.

The Tiger Rolls are delicious, and for a price comparable to most entry sushi eat-ins, you get a nice portion... and not ketchup packet wasabi either. If you're stuck in crazy weather (usually my motive), or you're looking for a movie night without the usual pizza, Kami Sushi Express gets two chopsticks up.
