I love the Brunch they have here. Very classy and quaint atmosphere and the service is excellent. I had the opportunity to go for their 5 course brunch and it was amazing! The courtyard is an excellent place to dine if the weather is nice; unfortunately it rained the day I was there. The arrangement of the tables allows for some privacy. Located in the Fells Point area with plenty of shops and bars to go to after a delicious brunch!
A standing Baltimore debate: Kali's or Black Olive for the best seafood?
I'm going to say Kali's.
It doesn't hurt that the ambiance is elegant in the extreme. As you walk through the courtyard garden, you just know you're in for something special. (Even more so if you get to sit there on a warm summer night!)
The service is impeccable and very, very knowledgeable. If you're not familiar with a particular fish, just ask and they can characterize it for you. Or go the other way--tell them what kind of fish you like (light? meaty? fishy? salty?) and they'll give you good recommendations.
Think you've had calamari every way 'til Tuesday? Try theirs, grilled with fennel-apple-red onion slaw and be amazed. If bronzini is on the menu, yell to your server the moment you sit down that yes, YES, that's what I want!
3.5 out of 5
This is a beautiful restaurant located on the cobble stone in Fells Point. The seafood is fresh but nothing out of this world. We have been here a few times all of which have been ok.
Last time we were here we had a group appetizer that consisted of 4 different dishes. To me if tasted like good wedding food. Entrees are good but for real seafood lovers I recommend the Black Olive a block away.
Service 5/5
Food 3.5/5
Atmosphere 5/5
Kali's Court ranks up there with my favorite restaurants in Baltimore. Kali's is very well rounded in that it has great service, atmosphere, and of course the food. From the moment you arrive and enter through the beautiful garden area you know Kali's Court is not the typical Baltimore dive. The interior is elegant, but maybe a little heavy on the dark wood for my taste. The service is great and the food is even better. I have never been for brunch, but I can imagine this would be a good spot. I've also been to the sister restaurant, Mezze, a more casual, but also worthwhile trip.
Elegant. Delicious. Wonderful. We went on a Thursday night late and they were still packed. Good sign! There was room at the bar so we had a half bottle of white and got to take in the atmosphere. All very cool. So if you're there on a Thursday night, ask for Dre cause he'll hook you up and keep you smiling. We started with a lamb sausage couscous amuses bouche compliments of the chef. We shared the spinach and crap wrapped in phyllo and it was sooo yummy. I had the whole Mediterranean bronzini which was filleted pre table service. They'll also discard the head and tail ahead of time if you like. It was maybe the best fish I've ever had. It was salty and juicy and the side potatoes were a perfect little match. After Dre's recommendation, my date had something else that I can't remember because I was too distracted by my delicious entree and maybe his good looks. He loved it though and cleaned his plate as well as I did mine. We shared the vanilla creme brulee which was caramelized to perfection and was a sweet way to end the night. Kali's is totally worth the money and I think the only way it could have been better would have been to get a table in the outside garden.

Am I in the Mediterranean or Baltimore? Kali's Court is located in the historic Fells Point district of Baltimore. I took a ferry boat from the Inner Harbor to get there. I'm not sure what was more attractive... the restaurant, the food or the people. This is where the power crowd swims. This trendy upscale seafood eatery would be a great place for a date. I unfortunately was dining alone. Reacting quickly I spied a very congenial bartender who suggested I pull up a stool, have a glass of wine and then try the Bouillabaisse. She was right. Lobster, gulf shrimp, green-lip mussels, calamari and seasonal fish in a saffron-tomato broth, this dish was excellent. Remember to bring someway of financing your dining experience at Kali's Court.
