I just got finished with my largest tattoo... took 2 sittings spread 4 weeks apart to outline and shade in (black only) the tree on my ribs.

Mike (artist) worked on the custom design with me and did an amazing job.  Everyone at the shop was nice and friendly and the shop itself is a very relaxed and clean atmosphere.

If you decided to get something done here- just be careful that you dont accidently go sit in the waiting room of the other tattoo parlor on mass ave (only about 4 blocks away)- im told that lots of people make appointments at one spot and accidently go to the other (and vice versa)...

Disclaimer- I work right next to this place and I have no tattoos!  However, if I ever did get one- I would go here.  I've seen tons of thier tattoos and they are all ready great artists.  Very cool relaxed place too.  I can honestly say that I would totally trust anyone who works there to permanently paint my skin.

I have not personally gotten a tattoo here but I have been with friends to get a bellybutton piercing, tattoo and ear piercing. I have a very mixed review. When I walked in there the first time when I was checking out tattoo places (although I had already made my appointment at Redemption) I did not get a good vibe. The place is  clean and the people are friendly and talented but there was something that made me uncomfortable.They are not very professional. Also, both times we had to wait for at least an hour for things to get started. My friends' bellybutton has been having problems healing. I'm not sure if this is entirely (or at all) the piercer's fault, but i do know she has been doing her part to keep it clean. I would hesitate to recommend this place, but wouldn't  discourage someone to go there entirely either.
