Beautiful scenery for a wedding on the beach (I mean, like, on the sand, wind in your hair, surf and ukeleles in the background).
This is the windward side of Oahu and is prone to sudden showers, but I swear during the wedding, the gusts mellowed to mere breezes, the clouds parted allowing for a view of a rainbow just as the bride and groom exchanged vows at the end of their flower petal trail to the beach.

one of my fav beach in oahu...its right next to kailua beach which is always crowded, which makes kalama beach much better. perfect spot to boogie board for the begginers..this is always the first beach i go to as soon as i get to oahu...close enough to waikiki but far from the tourist area of waikiki. i love it!

fewer tourists than just down the way (kailua beach), it does have coarser sand than kailua beach tho, additionally it takes longer for this end of the beach to clear up after long rains (yucky pooh). Aside from this, how can you argue? what a view.
