if you're itching for a beach near kailua kona, i suppose this would be your spot. if you're mobile (ie have a car), i'd say pack up your belongings and head up to hapuna beach instead. but if you're in dire straits time wise, then i suppose this will do.
it's small and crowded, and definitely not as nice as the aforementioned beach, but do as you will/must.
