This place rocks!! The decor is festive, the food is tasty, and our server (Christina) was wonderful. I have a gluten allergy, and she went back to the kitchen to ask questions about ingredients for me and was helpful in making substitutions. Yay Christina!! Also, my husband and I ordered the same dish, but he likes his beef medium-well and I like mine medium-rare to rare, and they came out together and each was cooked perfectly!! I ate here while on vacation, but I will return if I am ever back in town.

I smell this place almost every time I grab groceries at Publix. Those strange, unfamiliar yet altogether delicious spices weighed down with the very familiar scents of charred meat. Mmf. S'heavenly.
Unfortunately, I'm usually on my way home to cook dinner when I smell this, so I don't often get a chance to pop in to sample the source of the enchanting aroma. However, I've found myself there once or twice and I was very, very happy during my stay. The staff is excellent, the service ranges on the kind of doting you expect at a restaurant in a far larger price range, and the food can be addicting.
I can't NOT get the lamb here. It's great -- just moist enough, not dry, and the flavor's subtle and perfect, not overpowering. The merguez -- a sausage of lamb and beef -- is my absolute fav while dining here.
The environment is nice and low-lit, almost a little too dark sometimes, but it's a classy, intimate setting most of the time. Unfortunately, when I last dropped by for a meal in the middle of a Thursday night, things weren't all that shaking anymore -- we were literally the only ones in the restaurant, which is a shame since it really has everything going for it.
They've also recently added some hookahs outside for those with such vices. I've never partaken, but it's always a nice thought knowing I have the option to try something new. -

I was in Orlando this last week for a meeting. On the way out of town I stopped at the Kabbab House and now I wish it was closer to home. The place has a very relaxing and interesting look and I was warmly greeted, even though they had barely opened. I was hoping to find Donner Kabbabs, but no luck. Seems like you have to go to the UK or Canada to get Donner kabbabs but that is another review.
We ordered the kafta and Merguez kabbabs and sat back in the comfy chairs to wait with some ice tea and lemonade. The waitress came back sortly and apologized that there was a problem with the rice, which the chef just told her about and if we would prefer to have french fries. I said no, we'll wait for the rice. At that point the chef/owner came over and apologized as well. He said the first set of rice wasn't anything he felt he could serve and it might be as long as 40 minutes before we could get our order. I was in no rush, and the fact the didn't want to put out crap or pass off something made me more than willing to wait and see what came out of the kitchen as the smells were incredibly good.
So we sat back to wait for the rice to cook and see what happens. The waitress brought us some complimentary humus and pita and we relaxed. The hummus is very good and it was a perfect gesture for the situation. And excellent way to make me a fan and keep the customer happy. When the food arrived the kafta kabbab was extremely good. It seasoned just right. Often I've had it where the seasonings are overpowering but this was a suburb blend and showed a light hand. Excellent and highly recommended. The Merguez is a sausage of beef and lamb and it was lovely as well. And the rice was cooked and yummy. Service was attentive without going over board and very pleasant. The only suggestion was the sauce served with the kabbabs could be spicy. But then again, I love the spicy sauces and the best kabbabs I've ever had were in London and served with a great spicy sauce.
We finished off lunch trying to convince the chef he should open a store in our part of florida, as it is grim for such wonderful grilled treats in our neck of the woods. A pleasant lunch I hope to repeat next time I'm in Orlando. -

Went here for lunch today on a serendipitous date with my wife and it was excellent! I couldn't decide between the gyro lunch special or the kabob plate so I went with the gyro even though I have pretty high standards in that department (more on that place later...). My wife had the gyro salad. Everything was beautifully presented, wonderfully tasty and plenty to eat. The hummus appetizer was wonderful and included fresh grilled pita bread. The establishment was very clean and well decorated with black table linens and a mixture of seating including standard (American height) tables and more traditional seating. The staff, including the owner, was very friendly and attentive. This is a great find and I will certainly go back to try the cubed ribeye beef kabobs (and the chicken.. I hear it's amazing).

I was in the area yesterday with with a couple of friends so I decided to give it a try. It was late at night and they have the menu narrowed down so the selection was limited but still good. We started off with the appetizer sampler. The baba ghanoush was excellent. The rest were good but not too special. Next came a mixed grill. The meat was very good. Best beef & chicken I've had in a while. With a full menu you have a lot more choices, but we were happy with what we had and would definitely stop by another time. The atmosphere was nice, there was some live music but the guy singing didn't have the best voice. I'd highly recommend they find a replacement. They have hookah and patio seats as well.
