Though Ka Won is pretty far from where I live, I ended up celebrating my birthday here last year. There were 9 of us and we came without reservations, but lucky us, we were seated after a tiny bit of wait. SCORE! The only disappointing thing was not being able to sit at the grill tables, as it was pretty much full that evening.

I don't really remember/know what we ate since my Korean friend ordered everything, but we shared 2 pancakes, a couple orders of tofu soup + salad, and a few plates of meat. Everything was delicious and everyone left happy and full.

After reading dozens of reviews or Korean restaurants, I finally settled on this one, however I thought it was only so-so.

We ordered the bulgogi and the highly praised black pork. While I enjoyed the bulgogi, the pig was incredibly bland and tough. Perhaps it was our fault for not grilling it at the table. Whatever the cause, I don't think we'll be getting that again.

The service was not great, but not horrible. The biggest problem was just getting a glass of water. Dinner comes with tea but I'm not really a hot drink person, despite my boyfriend's insistence that I drink hot drinks with dinner. It's just a thing. I don't like it. So when we ordered, I asked for a glass of water. It never came. When the food arrived, I asked for water again. This time the waitress brought me tea. I decided it would be best just to smile and give up.

Once fewer people were dining, the service noticeably improved. Not good enough to get water, but decent.

Oh, I should add that my boyfriend absolutely loved the side dishes and thought they were the highlight of the meal. He shoved twenty of those tiny fish in his mouth. I was a bit disgusted but I know a lot of people like them. To each his own.

Well, I went back again. To be honest, I'm not sure I went to the same restaurant.

Maybe they were having an off night, but the service was extremely indifferent and several tables who arrived after us were served before us.

When we were finally served, the quality of the grilled meat was noticeably lower and chewier than what I had the first time. The food is all you can eat on Sunday - Thursday if you order specific things on the menu (which we did order) but our "second helping" had even worse meat than our first helping.

Inconsistency is not a virtue. Revised downward.

I've been to Ka Won numerous times with my family, and it never disappoints. Yeah, it's a bit north, but totally worth the drive.

Everything about it reminds me of dinners after work with friends in Seoul, S. Korea. So the service isn't top notch, but that's the way things go in a Korean restaurant.

The meat was excellent. We had black pig pork belly, the regular pork belly (uncured bacon essentially), two different cuts of beef, and some squid. While I could've gone without the squid, everything else was high quality and delicious.

Also, the side dishes were excellent, which is one of the critieria I have when I go to a Korean restaurant. Their kimchi especially was awesome as was their potato side dish.

Their dwoenjang jjigae (fermented soy bean stew) was pretty good as was their gyaeran jjim (steamed egg dish).

We had a group of 8 and ordered 2 of their barbeque combination platters, which each came with 2 different kinds of meat, squid, a number of side dishes, the stew, the egg dish, and your choice of alcoholic beverage (beer or soju).

It was more than enough for the 8 of us, coming out to only $14 a person! And that was with an extra bottle of soju!

I think I've converted 3 of my friends into Korean food lovers!

So yummmy!!!!  I love heir soups.  The broth is rich and flavorful!  They also give you lots of food and they have lots of different unique side dishes.  I ordered their spicy beef soup and it was so good!!!  Lots of beef, noodles, green onions and eggs.   I am a fan!!  Took off one star because the place has a funky smell and service was only okay.

Overall, I think it is one of the best Korean restaurants in Seattle area..... most of their dishes are pretty darn good...... BUT SERVICE KILLS.......

I went there for BBQ all-you-can-eat..... when I asked to refill the salad.... the server told me that it's only meat that all-you-can-eat applies to.... so she wouldn't refill the salad..... WTF.....

I tried this restaurant for the first time back in April.  I had read numerous reviews regarding the amount of ban chan and the ginormous amounts of food.  Not until I got there and read the menu and saw the amazingly inexpensive prices for the excellent quality of food did I see what the yelp was all about!

We had the Black Pig pork belly, some kind of steak, and squid all cooked on the grill at the table.  The waitress we had was great and very helpful.  She also cooked the majority of the food, not letting us lift a finger to turn the meats!  I'm used to doing it myself, but her willingness to help was fantastic!  The salad was awesome.  My son never eats salad, but the wonderful spicy-sweet dressing help him indulge in a heaven of greens and red pepper.
I could go on and on about how great I think the meal and the staff was, but I think my point has been made.  When my parents come to visit next month, I'm taking my dad there for his birthday and let him experience one of the finest restaurants Lynnwood has to offer.

Hit Ka Won up on a Saturday night after building up an appetite from snowboarding. The quality and quantity did not disappoint.

The ColorsNW review of this joint pointed out that when you arrive you need to specify if you want BBQ or regular. They assumed we wanted regular menu and started seating us right away, so I was glad for that tip. After a brief wait, we nestled into our table as the grill warmed up and we sipped on hot tea. The place was bumping - large groups of families and friends were gorging and laughing. Despite the fact that it is buried into the side of a Lynnwood strip mall, this place obviously knows how to pack 'em in. The draw is the food, not the décor. And what fresh food it was!

The banchan side dishes were incredible. Bean sprouts threaded through some pepper threads in a vinegar marinade, firm tofu, braised winter greens, and fresh kimchee, spicy and mild. We cooked up the kimchee and paired it with pork side (a tad fatty for my taste) and the sesame salt dipping sauce, for a delightful combination. The triumph of the meal, however, was the marinated beef. (Good call Sheril P.!) Great quality, generous portion, and homemade marinade. And don't forget their salad, a huge serving of crisp greens in a tantalizing dressing. We were so full that we ignored the side soup, which came a little late in the meal, and focused on the meat itself. They let you box up whatever you don't finish.

The waitresses were eager to give advice, which I appreciated. Some might call them pushy but I enjoyed their willingness to get all up in the food business and offer opinions.

I wanted to treat my hubby to a good Korean dinner so we made the trek to Lynnwood this weekend.  Boy, were we disappointed.  We got there around 6pm and the restaurant was pretty empty.  After the waitress dropped off our order we literally did not see her for the rest of our dinner.  I mean, one can never expect good service from a Korean restaurant but even for it being Korean I thought this was pretty negligent.  She turned on our tabletop grill and left us to our own devices.  Maybe my mistake was speaking to her in Korean.  If I had been a foreigner, she would've had to give us better service, right?  I mean, what if I had never had Korean BBQ before?  About half way through our dinner I flagged down a random waitress to ask for some more water.  Nothing happened.  Then I flagged down another and asked again.  Nothing happened.  I asked for water FOUR times in a span of about 20-30 minutes.  It really put a damper on our dinner.  I thought for the price they charged, the amount of food was pretty meager.  The only reason why I'm not going down to 2 stars is because sadly I don't think you get much better in Washington.

I need to move back to LA...  :(

Pretty good Korean Restaurant, very good service.  Soups here are excellent.  I ordered the pork belly due to the reviews on yelp and was underwhelmed.  Needed seasoning and more carmelization, but thats just me.  I would come back to try the Kalbi.  Good sides tho.  I do wish that they had smaller portions of BBQ for lunch.  The pork belly that i ordered was a huge portion at $16, Kalbi which i think is the most popular I believe was maybe $20...  Soups were reasonable for lunch at around $8 to $9.   I give it 3 and 1/2 stars.

Yes its good meat.
But think beyond that. The waitresses are over worked and really do not care for you and the old carpet is just screaming with bacteria.
Have you seen the kitchen? I'm not that surprised that nobody is complaining about it counting that there's a window for the public to see into the kitchen.
I give this place an overall 3 star because of its msg driven food.

A friend of mine recommended this spot for Korean BBQ. We ordered the seafood pancake per his recommendation - it was great. My husband had a seafood dish as well (can't remember the name) it was really good and spicy as well.

The service was good but the atmosphere is not (that's why 3 and not 4 stars). The space seemed to be scabbed together with lop-sided light fixtures and whatever other seconds they could find.

consider take-out for a good time.

As lame as it sounds, ordering Korean BBQ alone is almost as fun as actually eating it. Words like "bibimbap" and "bulgogi" elicit fun and excitement! Ok, it's just me? Yeah, it's probably just me.

I thought this was place was a little on the expensive side. The Lynnwood area seems to be the sprouting spot for Korean restaurants and I think there are other places that are more worthy of a visit. Plus, I'm sure at all these places serve bibimbap and bulgogi, which is really all I care about.

Btw, I'm not a Korean food expert.

As I've stated before, I'm a devoted follower of Hoosoonyi...mainly because of their fish egg soft tofu soup. I've tried many a Korean places in the greater Seattle area and have never been as satisfied.

My newly appointed North End Good Eats Patnah (NEGEP for short), Leah, offered me otherwise and suggested we try Ka Won after work. Hmmmm I don't knowwww.....but all she had to say was pork belly. Haaaaaaaaave Mercyyyyy!!

When we walked in it was pretty empty- a surprise to Leah since we didn't get there until almost 6 on a Friday. She said it's usually packed, but whatevs at least we got in! She ordered a plate of pork belly and marinated steak. In came the side dishes, ho hum...they're good everywhere so moving on. The SALAD! There was something about that salad that was amazing!! Perfectly dressed and crisp, it totally hits the spot on a hot day!

My beloved pork belly strutted in thickly sliced along with a plate of the marinated steak. Leah suggested we cook the pork first because the marination on the steak would make more of a mess. Well aren't you brilliant Ms. Leah?! Fair warning, the pork belly is not marinated (as it should in my opinion) but it comes with a sesame oil and salt dipping sauce. I almost fainted after the first bite. The marinated steak was un-f-ing-believable. Leah hinted that she ordered this now instead of the Korean shortrib (which you can get anywhere) and I have to agree- it melts in your mouth and the flavor is divine.

Note to self- wear bbq clothing when dining here.

One of my Korean friend brought me to this place. I never knew that they have such a great Korean restaurant hidden at the back of this little strip mall... So, I ordered a bunch of items off the menu for 3 people (my brother eats for 4 people). Food came out pretty slow, but not slow enough to turn me into a total bitch. I fell in love with the Seafood Paejun! Soooo good. And all the barbecue dishes are priceless. Meat is tender, marinated to perfection, and cooked well but not to the point where it's chewy! Portions are slightly big too so you get your money's worth!

Came here with a large group of ~15 on a week night at around 7pm.

Service: C

The restaurant was packed the whole 2.5h we were there. Service was remarkably slow. Our reservation had been given away because a waitress mistook another group for our group.

We waited about 40min before having our orders were taken. To be fair, members of our group were still trickling in during the first 20min.

Our side dishes weren't brought out til after the rest of the food, which led to more stomach growling. We were only given one pitcher of water for the entire group, and the pitcher wasn't brought out until we were 3/4 of the way through our meal. Naturally, with all the marinated meat and spicy sides, we had to keep requesting refills!!

As the largest group present for dinner, sitting smack in the middle of the restaurant, we expected more attention.

Food: B+

All your standard KBBQ stuff. Portions were generous. The large group split up and ordered in smaller groups; my group of four ordered three meat dishes, japchae, sundubu, and side dishes. We had plenty of meat leftover. Two meat dishes would probably have been enough! This came out to $20 per person.

Note: We opted to have the meat cooked in the kitchen. Not all of the tables have grills, and portable grills are available at the grill-less tables.

I felt that the selection of side dishes was mildly lacking, but it may vary from night to night. The rest of the food was of normal quality, but I may not be your authoritative Korean BBQ connoisseur. (I haven't noted huge disparities in the taste of food at the many Korean BBQ places I've been to on the west coast. I sense more fluctuate in prices and portions.)

P.S. My friends and I had some trouble finding the restaurant. If you're heading north on the 99, turn into the plaza area immediately after Safeway - there are a number of Korean signs, but we didn't see any English signage for Ka Won on the main street.

Service was terrible.  How many times can I ring the freaking doorbell before you come??

That being said, the food was sugoku oishii.  I had a Korean with me and he just ordered.  So much food.  So little belly space.  Well, maybe not so little.  The fish in the tangy, savory BBQ sauce on a giant platter was the best.  Can't wait to go back.

I am so glad I gave Ka Won another chance! The best Korean food I've had in a LONG time (besides my mom's cooking).  First off, this place is chock full of Korean people.  There was only one white person there and he was with a group of Koreans, so he almost didn't count (no offense guys!).  Off to a very auspicious start.  We knew we were getting authentic food; not insidpid, watered-down bullshit for the faint of heart.

We ordered the kalbi jim (slow-braised short ribs), ooguhji tang (a soybean paste soup), and yukaejang (spicy beef stew with vermicelli, egg, young fern, and green onion) (I have no idea how to spell these, really).  They were all very, very good.  We finished everything.

What surpised me though is how much the banchan (side dishes that accompany every Korean meal) blew me away.  It's so rare to find a Korean restaurant whose banchan is all that.  They had regular kimchi (spicy) and water kimchi (non spicy) that were terrific.  I LOVED their mook (sort of like acorn or mung bean jello, but not sweet) marinated in spicy sauce.  And they had these sauteed peppers (dunno the Korean name) that was to die for.  They even brought us a complimentary salad of lettuce and green onion even though we didn't order kalbi.

The service was really slow in the beginning, as they were packed. Even on a Monday night.  But a little patience goes a long way.  Once we got our banchan, the service was swift and attentive.  Also, the restaurant is tucked into the back of a strip mall and is not visible from Hwy 99.  So you just have to guestimate where to turn....

This is definitely one of the best Korean places in the Seattle area.  The meat quality is great, the stews are flavorful and the ban chan (the large collection of various kim chee type dishes) is plentiful with a great variety.  The salad is a must and very addicting and the spicy pork is great.  I have not yet had a major issue with the service here.

I'm torn between two and three stars for Ka Won.

The little dishes were excellent, particulary the tiny salty dead whole fish with walnut mix. And perhaps we were meant to order BBQ?

Instead, I had seafood soon dubu jigae...dubu was good, and it arrived bubbling, but the seafood was sparse (a handful of clams and tiny shrimp) and the broth was not particularly spicy or flavorful. M's bulgogi-dumpling soup was similarly "OK." I give it a thumbs up just because it had dok in it (at least, I think that's the word for those sticky rice cake slices).

Overall, I felt very "hmmmmm" about the spot. I'm clearly going to have to try HoSoonYi for soondubu (right, everyone, that seems to be the consensus?) ... and we're stil taking recommendations for kimchee mandu.

I'd heard about Ka Won some time ago, but only learned of it's spelling and exact location when Yelp Buddy Janeane wrote about it this week. With gas prices plummeting (Hah!), I decided to brave the trip north to check things out. We got there around 6:30. Business was brisk! The place was close to capacity, but something soon opened up. The clientele was almost 100% Asian - mainly Korean, but I heard several dialects of Chinese also.

I estimate that Ka Won is one of our largest Korean restaurants - counted about a hundred seats. A good 50-60% of these were at BBQ grilling stations, with built-in exhaust systems. About 10% more were free-standing tables with grilling facilities. The rest were regular tables. The interior is alright - not real fancy, but not totally utilitarian. In my mind, I put it somewhere between Hae Nam in Shoreline (nice hotel-like polished stone floors!) and Ho Soon Yi in Edmonds. I like that the tables were generously-sized - ours easily accomodated every last dish, glass and bowl that was brought out. With space left over!

The service was quite good. There were 5-6 staff on the floor and in spite of the fact that they had to hustle from table to table, our needs were attended to quite promptly. As things simmered down, they actually got quite chatty. Overall, I'd say the service was better than par for the course.

We had the spicy Black Cod and Radish (served on a stone platter), a bowl of seafood Soon Tofu Jigae (spicy soft tofu soup/stew), and an order of grilled sesame-seasoned streaky (bacon-like) pork. The cod was excellent! Served in a fabulously tasty red spicy sauce, the dish included butter-soft slices of cod, succulent pieces of Korean radish, and chewy, bite-sized slices of dense noodle-cake. The pork looked a bit funky when it arrived - it was a bit paler than we'd imagined. But looks were deceiving. It was yummy when eaten with the green onions and sliced chilli peppers (which came on the hot pan). It also tasted really good with the spicy red sauce from the cod. The jigae was the big disappointment. Inspite of the ingredients (shrimp, clams, mussels and mushroom), it was bland. So bland that the tofu seemed to dominate things. BCD and Ho Soon Yi have better broth.

Oh, I forgot to mention the banchan! Right or wrong, I like to take inventory of the banchan when sizing up a joint. Ka Won served 10 varieties. That's about as many as I've seen in other places (although somewhere in the back of my mind I remember an "11", and possibly even a "12"). In any case, most places give you 6 to 8 banchan, so 10 is great. There was nothing exotic on the menu, but what we got was fresh (or should I say "not stale"?...since freshly-made kimchi must be pretty awful), and tasty.

4 Stars - I'll be back to try more stuff!

As I was reading the Seattle Weekly, I flipped over to the restaurant section and ran across an article about Ka Won!  I always get excited whenever I see a review or article about Korean food.  I have always thought that it doesn't get the respect that it deserves.  Today, all you see are Japanese, Thai, and Vietnamese restaurants.  Why is Korean food still so foreign as to be neglected or passed over?

That said, Ka Won in my humble opinion is the best Korean restaurant in Washington State.  I do not regularly head down to eastern Washington or anywhere outside the I-5 corridor, but I can confidently say that this restaurant is the poo.  The Poo!  The Shit!  Sometimes a place is so good that you must use an expletive as a verb or noun as required by the situation and description to adequately describe the  greatness of a place.

The BBQ is good here as are the soups and side dishes.  The hot pots which are sometimes referred to as casserole's (?) are tasty as well.  I mean really good food here, but....BUT!  The best item here is the Gae-ran-jjim or the egg custard.  An egg souffle that is savory and delicious.  An item from my youth that has been perfected at this restaurant.  This is a much fought over item and usually when I go to eat here, my party will order 2-3 to prevent bloodshed and chopstick stabbings.  (Koreans prefer metal chopsticks!)

The only downside if any to this place is that it's fallen victim to it's own success.  The demand far exceeds the supply and waits are inevitable here.  I live in Seattle and my cousin lives in Bellevue and we have randomly met at Ka Won a few times.  It used to be that Tacoma and Federal Way was the mecca for Korean food, but these days I feel that Ka Won is the best place for Korean food.

So for the uninitiated, please check out what you've all been missing.  Korean bbq is a no brainer.  I've never met anybody that has had it and not liked it.  I have to warn you though, it's kind of like the marijuana or gateway drug of Korean foods.  You start with the BBQ and then progress into the other delicacies that usually involve my people's love of garlic and chili's.    So if you're one of those prudish diners that are afraid of new things, than go toss that lean cuisine into the microwave and fire up those sitcom reruns....but if you feel that you were the only one watching Indiana Jones and the Temple of doom that didn't cringe at the Monkey Brains (just kidding), and thought to yourself "don't knock it until you've tried it", go to Ka Won, order some beers and maybe some soju, loosen up that belt and be prepared to educate yourself in all that is good about Korean food!

Dinner ($15-20)

So the service at Ka Won is pretty bad.  So what.  The food is among the best Korean food in the Greater Puget Sound.  It's the only decent place around here (that I can think of) to have samgyeopsal on its menu.  So when I miss the good old BBQ and soju of the back streets of Seoul, I like to come to this place.  I'd say even the crap-ass service might even add to the authenticity of the joint.  It is missing the key Korean BBQ complement, lettuce wraps, but I usually don't mind that too much.

It always sucks to go for dinner on the weekends because it's usually packed, so I'm more amenable to making the long drive to Ka Won during M-F.  Also, be prepared to walk out of there stinking of Korean BBQ.

Best korean bbq I've had in a long time. The bbq combos are great and reasonably priced. The black pig is awesome. The side dishes are great and so is the bean rice. The bad thing about this restaurant is the neighborhood and the local bar across the parking lot. Its a shady part of 99 just south of Everett. It shares a lot with Waldos which is notorious for drunks, drugs, and fights.

Went there last evening for dinner and boy, was I surprised!  Great food and reasonable price.  I  wish I could read Korean so that I can tell what all the special dishes posted on the wall are.  We ordered could items and had a lot of left overs.  Would definitely return with more people so I can try more stuff!

Went their on a nice rainy night this past week. Usually go to Hosooni...but wanted to try something different. First shared, fish egg soup (al jiggae) and had a large Anju salad and bulgogi (pork)  platter which were absolutely great.  I really thought the food was exceptional and will go back and try it out some other things.  I highly recommend.

Yummy!  Tons of side dishes and a very good menu.   Staff is a little slow but the food was great.

i love this place. seriously. i am korean. and not that this should give me some kind of extra say so authority on korean food, i'm going to say it should in the case of korean restaurants in the seattle/bellevue area-and you yelpers take that however you like it.

unlike some of their other north of seattle competitors, ka won has always treated us well. the food has also always come out delish and their service has been 5 star for a korean restaurant-meaning, they paid attention when i asked for something, they were generally prompt, and they even have those little bell things installed so you can call your waitress like you do your stewardess on a plane. i would make the trek up if you were for good seoul food.

my future ex-wife, er, i mean my current crush brought me here for kfood and it's been my fave kfood spot ever since. it's a helluva trek from bellevue but i think it's certainly worth it. we don't do the usual bbq, instead we sit in a different section where they give you what looks like an upside down cast iron wok that we cook our thin sliced beef on. they give you a gang of the little side dishes that i savagely partake. my date is korean and she only eats the kimchi as everything else is just filler. haha. anyways, the ambiance ain't really great and your clothes will smell like kfood for days and days after but i have not had a bad meal there yet. DO IT!

delicious ban chan: check
delicious green onion salad: check
delicious kal-bi: check
located in a strip mall: check
ssam (lettuce)? hails no.
salt/pepper sesame oil dip? hails no.
kind, attentive, helpful service? hail to the mutha-effin' NO!

seriously, i would rate this place a 5 star just based on the food itself. the Kal-Bi (short ribs) are marinated to perfection. i was salivating while waiting for the next batch of meat to cook. we have a plentiful amount of ban-chan (side dishes) but once we ate them all... they didn't come back with more or ask if we needed more. WTF is that? so, throughout the whole meal... we only had Kimchi and nothing else. that's pretty retarded. further more- they didn't bring our waters or Boricha (barley tea), refused to give us lettuce to wrap our food/meat, refused to give us sesame oil/pepper/salt dip for our Ssam Gyup Sal (korean bacon) and brought that out to us on a plate- already cooked. WTF!?!?!?!?

i was mad. steaming mad. my mother complained to the owner (which she knows well) and our service went from bad to tragically worse. like i said... the food- is wonderful. ban-chan is wonderful. the space is small, the service is horrible, and there's no respect for customers... seriously. all they did was drop the food and there was no "Korean Hospitality" from bowing or thanking customers. it was poopy here. i will never come back here again unless someone pays for my tab. sometimes when the service is so horrible... even if the food is delicious, it makes me not want to come back. nope.

I would have liked to have given this place 5 stars but since there is room for improvement, it would have to settle with four for now.  The setback to this place is that it is FAR - Lynnwood?  More like the southern tip of Everett.  Anyhow, it was worth the drive considering they prepare many great dishes.  For a 5-person lunch, we went all out and ordered the first combination set: slices of black pork belly, kalbi, squid, and the dressed greens; tofu casserole soup; egg custard; and a bottle of soju - then we added the broiled mackerel (great portion) and the skate naenmyang.  This on top of all the banchan - barely left room to set down our chopsticks, which never really rested after the food arrived.  The thing that upsets me is the egg custard "dish" - this is really a traditional banchan so I deducted that from the true cost of the combination set - and even still, it's a great deal!  The kimchee isn't the best in town - a bit too saucy.  The cucumber kimchee didn't use the right type of cucumber so it left it a bit soggy, and as I passed by tables that were yet to be bussed, I noticed that kaktugi (radish kimchee) was served but not to our table.

If you just happen to be in that area, it's most worth a visit but I doubt I will drive any further than the establishments in Edmonds/Shoreline for my Korean-food fill.

p.s. What's up with their mint candies for its post-meal treat - where's the fresh cut fruit (especially with watermelons available this season) - now that should be on the combination set, too!

mean older lady servers...crowded tables with too many freakin' side dishes (banchan) but the best lettuce salad u will ever have...order 2 orders of samgyup sal- which is korean bacon, aka uncured bacon, aka a time i can eat bacon with rice without my boyfriend looking at me weird...and with the 2 orders u get fermented bean soup...sometimes the ladies forget to bring a bowl for the oil spill off the grill from the bacon and the oil will get all over ur table but u can't expect much because they're always slammed. i never order anything else but i never had to- everyone says their mom is the best cook, but i have to admit kawon's salad and soup is up there!

My husband and I dined here on a Wednesday night and it didn't seem to be that busy.  There were two big parties and another table of two so we though service would be quick.  Well, the service sucked!  There were three servers but they spent all their time wheeling food out and clearing tables.  No one came to check on us, so each time we needed something, we had to wave down a server.  The check never came - we ended up walking to the counter to pay.  The food was decent (but the BBQ others had smelled wonderful) enough to say we'd try it again, possibly when they first open during a Saturday and not so busy, but not any time soon.
