Dean & Eddie are always very nice & accommodating when I bring my vehicle into Meineke. I think they are fair with their prices, honest and never try to upsell me which is a big plus in my opinion. They always explain things in detail which is another plus. It's actually nice bringing my vehicle where I feel comfortable & confident knowing I'm not going to be taken advantage of.

Turned my dashcam off and ripped it off and left it in the cup holder missing a screw now doesnt hold up right. Had no need to remove could of just unplugged it.. Can't be trusted. Avoid

Horrible place as the past reviewer posted, Nah.. I thought it was a clean shop and they did a professional job on my baby.

Speaking of babies, there is a really nice classic Mustang on a lift. These guys are car guys so I'm bringing my baby in. My old Corvette (Eat that Ford Mustang!) had a broken vacuum hose connecting to the catalytic converter and needed to be replaced.

I get a phone call, we can't replace the silicone hose because its not made anymore so we have to weld a metal hose on instead. A few shekels more, well get to welding my good man!

Here's the thing, in the East Setauket/Port Jeff/Smithtown area, how many muffler shops are there?? Meineke Car Care Center is not only mufflers but total car care. And this place is close to Maureen's Kitchen!

Give this place a try, trust me. I let them work on my old Chevy

Brought my car in for an inspection Jeep Cherokee 2016. I do all my oil changes and other tasks at the Jeep dealership. Had a nice experience, they have a decent sized waiting room. Was easy to schedule an appointment. Plenty of car magazines to read and a tv in the waiting area. Eddie the manager was a super nice guy. He answered all my questions. The inspection passed without any needed repairs. The price was what they said it was on the phone. I decided on my own to get my front wiper blades replaced. I asked him about replacing the back wiper blade and he said it was unnecessary, which showed me he wasn't trying to make extra money. He really knows a ton about Jeeps which impressed me as a Jeep owner. Would highly recommend and I'm going to consider coming here for future maintenances instead of Jeep.

I found the guys at this Smithtown Meineke to be extremely professional and helpful. I have brought my car here at least several times and have always left happy . I have had my breaks repaired, oil changed as well as inspections with them. Dean is very personable and knowledgeable. I have also been helped by Eddie and Frank in the past and they were awesome . Most car places are dirty .. I found this one to be clean and didn't mind sitting and waiting inside for my car .

Needed a repair for a leak in my exhaust system. Stopped in here after calling same day to make an appointment. Called me with a quote before proceeding and had the repair done within a few hours. Picked up prior to them closing for the day. Also had an oil change and tire rotation. Very reasonabley priced, quote for the part was about half of what Toyota quoted for parts and labor. Very satisified, I will definitely return here in the future for muffler issues.

I went there for state inspection with appointments. It was not fixed the first time. I went there again and waited for another 3 hours with 2nd appointment, and they asked me to come 3rd time to inspect another problem.

They don't care about you. Will not recommend.

I usually only review food spots but I felt like this was worth it. I stopped at this place because my car started shaking on 347. I was far away from my house and worried about getting stuck. When I walked in, this shop really busy. I had to wait a bit but Dean the manager was very helpful and worked with my problem. I explained I was hoping whatever this was wasn't going to cost me a lot because I am getting rid of my car in a few months. Lucky, he told me I just needed my tires rebalanced and that should hold me until I get rid of my car.
My car is running smooth and I've been driving it over a month. I have no complaints with my service during this emergency situation.

They open up very early 7am for easy drop off. I like that. I feel they charged me a fair price for a good job. Complete muffler system. And they honored a online coupon found. I could not pick up my car the day it was repaired they held on to it the next morning no problem. So far so good
