thank you shannon & staff. You were so good to my sweet Melodi, Mel, Melodius or any of the other nicknames we used for her. She only went a few times but she always had a great time and came home happy and tired. When they heard about my lost they sent me a sympathy card...and when i went by after they gave me losts of hugs and shed tears with me. Thank You all...Mellie had a short but event filled life. Bless you all for taking such good care of her.

I still like them even though Carter was kicked out of daycare :0)

From what i hear thier landlord gave them 30 day notice ---that sucks! But they went over to run the Wags daycare...if you were a member with K9...then i think you know the deal :0)

When I became a dog owner I was deliberatly conscientious, I  learn a lot about a lot of different styles of training, and interacting with a dog and others.  My dog is a rescue girl. She is sensative, cautious and she is frankly loud to boot.  It is partly her breed, partly her circumstances.  But she is also a great judge in character! In searching for the right day doggie day care I have quickly figure out, sadly, the hard way, whose style of training, and reaction to my sensative loud barker is a red flag to stay away.  The K9-5 staff 'barked' at me for not putting enough training into my dog.  Oddly the other 4 trainers I have worked with have noted how much time and patience I have put into my pooch's training!  After immediately turning us away, I took my pooch down the pennisula to Planet Pooch to receive the kindest reception of "let's try it!" and "we are willing to give it some time, even though she is LOUD and a little stand-offish".  And low and behold... She is generally quiet at day care.  I mean she has always been well behaved with other dogs- but Planet Pooch was willing to have her with patience and accepting that she is a dog and WILL bark and knowing she would likely mellow out and relax into the doggie day care scene.  Just know that there are OTHER Doggie Day Cares out there that are willing to WORK WITH YOU MORE than k9-5 AND be MORE sensative to you and your pooch! I highly recommend PLANET POOCH and give a HUGE thumbs DOWN to K9-5.
