Okay, this place is a bit of an enigma, girls that will bum me a cigarette and hot boys that aren't pretentious, Girls that spin jackson's "i'm bad" straight to Ms. Clarkson's "since you've been gone', crazy dancing and jell-o shots. Truly some of the best nights I've ever had in NY, so all you kids that aren't fun or are hipster bitches, please don't come, please don't ruin another awesome bar.

K&M is labeled by a sign with two long polish names followed by large 'pierogies' sprawled underneath, so you can easily miss this place during the day. its a short walk off the bedford strip, but far away enough for the visiting wanna be Brooklyn-ites not to know about it.
There seems to be a crowd every night of the week, and is a good alternative to union pool. They have some sort of fenced in outdoor area where people can hang out and smoke. My roommate dj's there alot, along with these two twin girls, and in my opinion they play way to much top fourty stuff for such an indie crowd, but they claim thats what everyone wants. People were dancing, what the hell do I know?!?
Bartenders were chill, all wearing ties (classy night?!? ooooo) They have a large projection screen that was playing a subtitled japanese movie. I had some sort of japanese white ale that was one of the best beers i'd ever had...a near-future venture will hopefully determine the name. great bar, great crowd
Saturday nights are really fun here. They play hip-hop and dance and is not get overly crowded.
The bartenders are really cool and know how to make all sorts of shots and drinks.
I def recommend going on a Saturday.
I like this bar. It's a small step up from the cheap and divey bars I usually like, but you can still get a couple of kinds of beer very cheap. I can vouch for the Tuesday night DJ's -- they are friends of mine and they are the best. They play a catchy yet eclectic mix with subtle and sophisticated hipster sensibility. There's also enough seating for you and your friends, if you don't feel like dancing.

It was a spring evening and the windows were open and the breezes were blowing, and the music was a-playing and the drinks were a-pouring and...
SWOON.

Sweet, dark hangout with a wide selection of beers. Alcohol content is listed on the menu, so you can plan how fast you'll fall off the barstool. The music is great, as is the bartender. They also sell Walker's salt & vinegar crisps.
