1 review for JV Nails
I'm meticulous about having my nails painted, and any of my former roommates and boyfriend will attest to the fumes that would fill the room at night as I repaint my nails if a single chip were evident. Sadly, nail polish doesn't travel well, and I've had leaks, bottles breaking, and bottles sealing themselves. This time when I came home, I did not bring a single bottle of nail polish. After having my fingers polishless for two weeks, insanity set in, and I had to get my nails done but where?
I drove around my home trying to find a nail salon I have yet to try because the ones I have been to have been disappointing. I will say that any nail salon must live up to Silk in San Francisco because that was the first place I ever had my nails done, and they do a very good job there.
After driving around, I found JV Nails on the second floor of a relatively new new shopping complex at the intersection of Scaggsville Rd and Clarksville Pike. I didn't have an appointment so I had to wait a few minutes. It's pretty much your typical corner nail salon with a TV on and Vietnamese flying through the air, but they provide you with your own box to use when you come. The mani/pedi was ridiculously fast, but as a result, the quality suffered even though they provide a paraffin treatment with the manicure. My nails were filed terribly neither square nor square oval but simply jagged, but the polish job was decent. In all honesty, I doubt I would go here in the future.
