It's no BuHi quality pho but what other choice do we have? Just Pho is the only restaurant in Athens that serves this delicious dish and that being said, it's not bad. The broth definitely lacks the warmth, depth and savory flavors of the better pho restaurants in Atlanta but it's good as it gets for a Vietnamese restaurant in this college town.

Real homey atmosphere with paintings by locals, a piano and a friendly owner. Prices are reasonable although it's a little more expensive than Atlanta and the portions are smaller.

One thing that really caught my attention was the durian smoothie. I absolutely love the fruit and the smoothie had a good durian flavor. The atrocious stench doesn't permeate through the room but it still leaves that stinky trademark breath after you drink it. Definitely not for dates or group outings afterward.

They have a small assortment of pastries from a bakery in Marietta, GA and they also serve wine/beer. Skip that disgusting $5 hot and ready pizza next door and give Just Pho a try next time you're around Baxter Street.

I finally tried an avocado smoothie, and you know what: I loved it.  I'm fairly unfamiliar with Vietnamese food, so I'm glad I tried this place.  I believe my meal was called Pho Tom.  It contained shrimp and vegetables in the broth.  The shrimp were cut in half longitudinally, so their presence was only subtle.  I probably would have liked it better had the shrimp been more substantial, but overall I enjoyed the meal.

I was especially impressed by the server's patience as I butchered the name of the restaurant and its food.  I'm glad they have the correct pronunciation of "pho" printed on the backs of their shirts.  I'll definitely need some practice!

This was a nice, clean little restaurant. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. The service was good, the food was GREAT.

I don't remember the name of what I ate. It was Pho (obviously) and it had thin noodles (perhaps vermicelli?), lots of meat (I believe it was pork, chicken, and Vietnamese meatballs), and green onions all in a hot and flavorful broth. The waiter was kind and attentive. Our food was brought out in a timely manner. The servings were HUGE. The prices were great with much of the menu being well under $11. When I am in the Athens, GA area I will be sure to visit again!

I definitely recommend this place.

Just Pho is an oasis in a city of greasy mistakes. The food is fresh and flavorful, and the atmosphere is clean and homey. There's even an upright piano in the dining area.

Atmosphere is one thing, but what I'm here to rave about is the FOOD! Steamy, hearty bowls of traditional Vietnamese Pho served with a generous side of fresh garnishes. Its a whole lotta meat and a whole lotta veggies, adding up to a completely satisfying meal. (there are vegetarian options too).

The location seems out of place next to the Little Ceasar's on Baxter, but remains central to the Athens area. Besides, were it in a place like downtown, the prices would not be as good.

PS - I know of no other place within 40 miles that will serve you a delicious durian smoothie!

Nice clean, friendly storefront restaurant serving a dozen or so different Pho dishes along with a few appetizers and three or four bun dishes. I started with the Goi Cuon appetizer which was fresh and tasty. For dinner I had one of the specials, Bun Thit Nuong. this is a rice noodle dish with barbecue pork. It was very good. The meat had a wonderful flavor and the rest, noodles, veg, sauce, combined for a great meal.

I would definitely recommend this  place and will return soon.

Five stars means as good as it gets, and for Vietnamese food food this place is as good as it gets.  I have only eaten here 3 times but Ive only known about it for 2 weeks. I highly recommend the sandwiches. Also they have an endless drink menu featuring anything from traditional bottled aloe, and grass jelly drinks, to avocado, or lychee smoothies. Also the menu is extremely reasonably priced for such big helpings.
