Lemme tell you something right now- I love the state of Delaware and I love Just Mugs Saloon.

First, what's not to love about Delaware?  I love the lack of sales tax, the lack of motorcycle helmet laws, and the lack of a State Athletic Commission and the subsequent rise of Ultra-violent Deathmatch Wrestling.

Just Mugs is located in one of the cooler parts of one of the cooler states.  Fuck the southern part of Delaware.  I don't need to fuck around at Bethany Beach.  Fuck that.  I'm into hanging around in Bear where there's Mexican restaurants, gun shops, and porn stores as far as the eye can see.

As much as I like Delaware (and I do) I shouldn't be hanging around there all the time, but (un) fortunately for me, my family lives right outside of Baltimore and everytime my sister gets arrested/overdoses on pills/gets institutionalized I have to travel just south of the Mason-Dixon line and help my parents clean up the ever-worsening mess that has become her life.  Usually, after all that shit, I need a drink and Just Mugs is my favorite place to stop along the way.  Maybe I shouldn't be getting drunk 90 minutes into a 4-hour drive, but what's 3 DWI's when you already have 2?

Just Mugs is well worth risking additional jail time.  The place is fucking amazing, the food is great, and even though I live several states away, the Sunday evening bartender treats me like a regular.  Here's and example of the last conversation I had with her:

Just Mugs Bartender:  You again!  What's the occasion?
Andy L:  My sister tried to kill herself and is going to jail (again)
JMB:  Oh, I'm sorry to hear that...
AL:  It's not a big deal
JMB: So, you want a Bud Draft?
AL: I sure do.

There are too many fantastic things about this place to list, but let me try to name a few off the top of my head:
-A Tim McGraw neon Budweiser sign
-An attached liquor store selling tax-free booze
-A huge stage
-Mugs!
