I don't work here, this review is just for their nice basketball court outside (complete with side benches to chill on). Nice court to play HORSE on during the weekends, although one hoop is missing a net. Oh, and their parking lot is pretty smooth to rollerblade on too. :)

I have been working at Juniper for nearly a year now. I started with an internship here that I found through a UC Berkeley career fair.

At the time of the career fair, I interviewed with a handful of different companies like Leap Frog, C-Net, Sun Microsystems and SanDisk. All of them had their strong suits and attractive aspects. The last interview I went on was with Juniper. I interviewed for a position in Enterprise Field Marketing [a far more technical role than I was qualified for]. As soon as I sat down for a 4-part interview, I started to gain a sense of the company and the people who worked here. Every one was warm and inviting, interesting and ambitious. I decided to accept Juniper's offer for an internship despite the long trek, in traffic, each way because I saw something remarkable in that initial interview.

I went from a 4.5 month internship into a contractor position with Web-based marketing until I came on as a full time hire at the start of 2008. I have been happier here than any other internship [I interned for DreamWorks Animated Studios as well] or job that I have had in the past.

I wake up excited to go to work every day. When I am here I feel encouraged to be creative and try new things, to branch out and voice my opinions. Even though I was a risky choice, being fresh out of college, I felt like I was supported and that my team had complete confidence in me. It has been factors like these that have allowed me to grow immensely. I feel as if I am a part of something: a family and a company. I'm so thankful that I made the initial decision to come here, and I cant wait to see where these next years lead.

I work here, and this job has made the most positive impact in my career. I was at a company with a very negative culture prior to Juniper, and my attitudes  towards work and even towards life have changed completely for be better after I got hired here. Folks in my department are extremely smart and fun to work with. Decisions are made based on what's best for the company, and there's not a lot of politics a company this size. I feel like the company cares a lot about my career growth, and their's a strong focus to help employees grow via education and training. The cafes are very good, and the company gyms have very low monthly fees and are fully equipped.

Employees here are proud of the products we make and morale is high. We work hard and play hard, yet work/life balance here is very sensible. Over all, I am very, very glad I made the decision to send my resume to Juniper and accepted their offer.

Everyone is really nice, except for a couple of women I've met in different departments. The food is great, and everyone wants to help each other, for the most part. I love that everyone is mellow and the hours are flexible.

I work here, and while I can't say I've seen with my own eyes what Mike V. describes, I will say that my Maste- uh, I mean, employers - are good people who treat their employees well and reimburse them fairly.  I think we make damn good networking equipment and - I can't believe I'm saying this - I'm proud to work here.

The food court really is pretty good, too.

Since I have some ex-coworkers that now work here I can relate to Mike' V.'s viewpoint on work ethic dichotomy. Otherwise, they make solid network routing and security appliances, especially after they swallowed up Netscreen and Neoteris. Again, if you can afford em, you can't go too wrong.

Somewhere amidst the endless bottles of BV, the Corona and Miller bottles strewn across the front grass on Saturday morning, the pool table, foosball, ping-pong, basketball court and volleyball net there is work being done here.  You might wonder how they keep so damn focused and committed.  But then you notice the beautiful Italian espresso machines on every floor.

And their food court rivals any of UCLA's dining halls.
