We drove by this the other night on our way to get groceries, and my 8 year old goes "Mommy - we HAVE to go there". I hear this often so I was like sure we do and I was racking up in my head how much cashola I was going to have to pay out for this excursion.

Let me tell you - for $29/pp (for those 48" and taller), we had the BEST day. The kids could not get enough of the slides and the lazy river. We also did go karts and bumper boats.  We spent about 5 hours there, and it went so quickly.  The staff was super nice and the snack bar was yummy (as well as reasonably priced).

This is a must go to place if you're in the area.

When it's overcast at the beach you just don't feel like sitting on the sand but you still want to do something.  JUNGLE JIM'S is the answer.  In addition to a nice-sized waterpark, they also have miniature golf, go-karts and bumper boats.

The slides are thrilling for kids of all ages and they have plenty of water fun for babies and smaller kids.  It's not as big as a Raging Waters, but we spent 5 hours there until the thrill was gone.

Sometimes, you just want to act like a kid again. So after a night of partying in Dewey, my sister, our friend and I decided to skip the beach and head to Jungle Jim's, the water park that we had passed by several times and could not stop talking about. Best. Idea. Ever. For $29, we were each fitted with a wristband, granting us all-day access to "The River Safari Water Park."

We spent about half of our time in the lazy river, which had waterfalls and a wave pool.  The park wasn't overly crowded, so we didn't feel like everyone was on top of one another which was great and made for a more relaxing day.  The other half of our time was spent going on a water slide which had a circular raft large enough to fit five people.

One of the best things about the park was that it was so well kept and very clean.  Also, the decorations and jungle theme were too cute.  We might have stuck out from the crowd as we were the only adults in the park without children, but the bottom line was, we had a great day and can't wait to go back next summer!

My kid said that the water park is good, but stay away from the mini golf.  Annoying flags (or poles with tattered or no flags) have to be removed on each hole.  We went at night and the lighting is very poor.  I tripped over something I could not see.  Parts of the course were flooded, and one of the holes was filled was disgusting water.  The course does not seem to be that well maintained, and the vegetation needs to be trimmed back.  It is very easy to lose your ball in the dark or into the water or weeds and not be able to find it in the water or weeds.
