I bought someone a gift certificate to June Angel earlier this year and she tried to call a month ago to use it, and they were closed. No one answered the phone, no message, nothing.
I want my money back! Does anyone have any information about this company? It's shadey that they didn't try to contact customers, or put a notice out to people who have gift certificates with them. I made a big mistake buying a gift certificate here. -

June Angel has great masseuses. The place is nicely decorated and front desk service was OK.
I won't return unless I have a gift certificate.
Downfall, this is located in a strip mall so you have noisy neighbors and could hear them through the walls. Bring music or ear plugs.

My mother and I came here before my wedding (this was three years ago). I got a massage and my mother got a facial and an eyebrow shaping. The girl who waxed my mother's eyebrows burned her so bad that they blistered and were red for my wedding (which was two weeks later). I was furious.
Ive been back a few times since then. Never been impressed with this place. The receptionists are not friendly. I've had several waxing services and massages here and I haven't been impressed with any of them.
Overall, even considering my worst experience with them, I'd say its not a terrible spa. Just not a great one. I will never go back there. I know that there are better spas. -

I too received a huge gift certificate to June Angel Day Spa from family members for $300.... for organizing a family reunion...one day I was walking by the business and noticed the place was cleaned out...the owner was inside..i man with dark hair and I asked him...Oh my are you moving, he states no we have closed up shop because the rent is $10,000 a month...I told him that I had a $300 gift certificate and he pointed around the empty room and asked me if I wanted a broken leather receptionist chair or a filthy dirty red poinsettia sitting on the ground...I was so disgusted...never once did they make any attempts to contact my family who gave them the money for my GC...I was so outraged..to this day I still have the GC sitting in my desk drawer...wonder if they will ever open under a different name...I even asked if maybe another massage therapist would honor my GC and he basically laughed me out of the building..after I thought about it I guess they wouldn't..what would they get out of it except maybe a NEW customer.....

My hubz surprised me on my birthday with a couples spa package at June Angel. I thought the price was pretty good about $255 for the both of us. Our spa package included a 60 minute massage and time to relaxing in the dry sauna.
My massage therapist was friendly and did a okay job with my massage and I think my husband enjoyed his massage also because I heard him snoring for a good 10 mins. After the massage and hanging out in the sauna, we got to take showers, which was nice.
The staff are attentive and professional. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the spa is very clean. I would like to go back and try some other services as well. Overall, a nice place to relax and pamper yourself, if you don't mind paying $$$. -

Melt away in luscious decadence.
Ahhhhhhhhh yeah.
Little bitty day spa in North County.
Little bitty wait
Little bitty price tag for their services
Great big thumbs up
- or if I've just been in, one thumb 'cause I'm too meltified to raise both.
Seriously, this place is great.
Try the facial or massage club if you've got the inclination to do it ("do it ...do it ..do it.."- David Starsky) more than twice a month.

I was in Vista visiting family and really, really needed some brow maintenance. I'd walked by June Angel a million times (hey, they're right next to Starbucks!) and decided to give them a call. The person who answered the phone was very friendly and I had no trouble getting an appointment.
When I arrived for my appointment the receptionist was very welcoming. I was offered water and then promptly taken back to a treatment room. The girl who did my brows was really sweet and chatty. I was very pleased with the way they looked and thrilled at the low price tag. I paid about $10 less here than I do in L.A. and my brows look great.
Overall, a great experience. I would be happy to return here the next time I'm in town! -

Better than any posh looking hideaway.
Because it's hidden, it looks small but there was plenty of rooms. I had a couples massage and it was one of the best experiences I've had.
It wasn't too pricey, in comparison, it was about the same as others in the area, if not cheaper.
The masseuse(s) were SOOOO sweet, and met any need we had.
We got some alone time in the sauna, and a nice shower--followed by champagne.
The massage therapists were by far the kindest I've ever met--I would go back for them alone.
There was no awkwardness or discomfort, just a very pleasant atmosphere and luxurious surroundings. -

I received a $50 gift certificate for June Angel for Christmas from a friend. I decided that I would get my first professional massage, and make it an hour long ($80 bucks). I visited their website and read that one of the specials that month was that Mike was adding a bonus 15 minutes to every massage. I excitedly made my appointment with him, and it was great! Since it was my first massage I think I was a bit nervous not knowing what to expect, but it was incredible. Mike noticed that I had the extra tension in my right shoulder and paid special attention to it. Like with other spa services I've received (facials, pedicures) I was afraid it would be over before I knew it, but my session felt like it lasted forever. The pressure was consistent, the lotion he used smelled nice and he was very considerate of my needs. I received a thank you note in the mail after my visit and a business card with Mike's name on it.
I recently received another gift certificate from my husband for another hour long massage, a European facial and a pedicure. I can't wait to go back! Definitely schedule a massage on a day that you can go home and just sleep for the rest of the day. -

Went for a bikini wax for the first time here (but I've waxed before), and got Ashley. Ashley was funny, talented, knowledgeable and nice. She did a great job, and you can't beat the price - $24 for a wax at a spa like this is wonderful. Everything was sanitary, relaxing, and pretty. Good job June Angel.

Stumbled on this place, which is in an unassuming strip mall, and have been amazed. Bikini wax, eyebrows, facial, and especially massage are outstanding. The staff are skilled and friendly, and I really like that you can get your body work without the chemical odors of a nail salon.
Connie is one of the best massage therapists I've ever had, and she turned my husband into a convert even though he was really leery! Ashley is great for waxes.
The services aren't cheap, but I think the level of skill and attention, along with the pleasant atmosphere, are worth it. -

I booked a pedi at June Angel Spa and was disappointed. First off they didn't do a soak. Matter of fact they didn't use water at all...call me old fashion...but I enjoy the water element of a pedicure. They used an OPI product instead. I've had a manicure done that way, and it was okay - but I didn't care for it on my feet. Beware the paraffin dip...mine was way too hot! I will say the spa was very clean, quiet, and the girl who did the treatment was very very nice. Perhaps their other treatments are worth the $...

I think they are closed now, but a while back, my daughter gave me a gift certificate for this spa for $100. I scheduled a facial and pedicure. The room for the facial was really cold, but the service was okay and the pedicure was supposed to include leg massage, etc, you know, the full monty, but she didn't do anything like that. Just a basic pedicure. Unimpressed, if they are closed, it's no wonder.

I had the worst migraine for 2 days and I was desperate! Made an appointment with Mike for a Scalp Massage, and I am in LOVE!! I've had plenty of massages and even went to massage school... So I'm more critical than an average massage-getter. Mike was absolutely wonderful... I didn't even hear or feel him breathing! I am hooked and look forward to going to back for a massage with Mike. I'm also considering trying their other services like a facial or waxing. I highly recommend this spa for a massage from Mike!

I love June Angel. I have been all around north county searching for a good massage/atmosphere and this place is! The people are nice. Mike gives the best massages. June Angel is small and will work with you. I always feel welcome and the staff has never been rude or unwelcoming. I also love the facials here. If you like to be pampered, go to June Angel

Loved this place. The massage therapist was really good and I had a relaxing 1 and half hour. I got a deal through their website and it was worth every cent. Would recommend it highly.
