i agree with the earlier review. this place is awesome. my cow carving father and my earth eating brother can each be satisfied, as can i. it's tough to earn a 5 star rating, but this place certainly does.
be warned, seating is limited, and lunch can be busy. -

I don't want to be a pretentious f'er and be all like, "I've had a REAL Philly cheese-steak, and senator, you're no Philly cheese-steak." ...
But it was just ok, and overpriced at $10.61 with a drink and fries (hand-cut, to be fair). -

The physical location in Briar Creek is closed, but they have set up shop inside The Diner on Glenwood! Same great food & now I can walk there :)

Very decent place to visit for lunch or dinner on the go. However, I found the food to be overpriced for my wallet. I walked out of there paying $10 for an ok burger, large fries and drink. Come on, you can't charge that when your right near great places like Brier Creek Ale House that charges less for lunch! The staff were cool and the scene was excellent.

Excellent cheese steak. Had it on a very tasty wheat roll Little tough to find the place at first but well worth hanging in there. Fries are worth the calories.

Meat and melted cheese make any meal great - this category includes such contributions to the palate as chicken parmesan, empanadas, and yes, the cheese steak. Jumpin' Jonny's has some of the best in the area. They're made on 8 inch, soft sub rolls stuffed silly with meat, cheese, onions, lettuce and tomato. The flavor is good and they're decently sized. You can get peppers and mushrooms for a little extra. Their menu goes beyond cheese steaks, though, with a variety of chicken sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, and salads. They also have some daily specials (Monday is charity day, for example, and on Friday you can get two combos for $14, etc) so plan ahead.

What a great find! I almost missed this restaurant, but spotted the sign from Highway 70. I was in the mood for food but didn't know what I wanted, so I took a chance and found it nestled right past Red Robin in Brier Creek.
First of all, I was very impressed with their menu board. They have all sorts of sandwiches and subs as well as deluxe entree salads. They have steak, chicken and veggie choices. I settled on a steak philly deluxe sub with fries. The sandwich was AWESOME; they used real steak. And the sandwich was HUGE. I definitely got my money's worth.
The staff was nice. They have all sorts of sauces you can put on your sandwich if you want. I will definitely come back and if I ever want a steak sandwich again this will be my #1 choice from now on. -

They make a good cheese steak; not authentic Philly, but everyone outside of Philadelphia has their "version". So they use provolone or cheddar instead of Cheez-Whiz... I can live with that. They make their own bread, the fries and fresh cut and worth trying. Sweet tea is also available.

Being from Philadelphia, I'm a bit more harsh on any cheesesteak place, but at least I admit it, right? This place was the best I've had in the area, but I havent honestly had a lot of cheesesteaks down here. It wasnt authentic Philadelphia cheesesteak, but I enjoyed it and it wasnt made from processed meat, so they are on the right track.
