Julie has been cutting my hair for over 9 years now. She is very nice and knowledgeable of how to cut and color hair. EVEN FOR A GUY. Wow. Her prices are fair, for a guy its a little pricey $17 but if you get a cut and have a style that only needs it once a month thats not bad. Plus your hair wont look like a fuzz ball after a month like other barbers or new stylists would leave you.
Julies salon is usually pretty busy so make an appointment. It is a little tough to understand the girls as they are all Chinesse with fairly strong accents, but they are all very nice and pleasent to talk with. For a place in Maple Valley and considering I used to go to Gene Juarez in Bellevue or Gary Manuel in Seattle (I know Im very picky about how my thick wavy hair is cut) just to get a cut and now Im going to only Julie that speaks fairly highly. I fly all the way up from California and first thing I always do is have Julie cut and fix my hair from my last poor choice of someone else cutting my hair.
