4 reviews for Juliana's Italian Restaurant
This place was awesome. There was five of us that went there the other night and we all loved everything that we got. Some of the highlights of the meal:
- Mushroom Ravioli: I don't know what kind of white sauce they used for this dish, but it was amazing! I wish I had gotten the dish myself
- Pesto Tortellini: I'm a fan of a creamier pesto, but this still was pretty good.
- Meat Lasagna: The person who got finished the whole thing and it was a pretty big portion. Absoutley loved it!
The service here was also very good. The waitress we had was very attentive. One of the few times I've ever been to a restaurant where someone's water or other beverage was actually refilled very quickly.
I would definitely eat here again.

First of all - Juliana's is a little hard to find. It's on the west-bound side of the Carlisle Pike across the street from Wendy's. It's located in the same little strip as the Animal Hospital. I found that the best way to find it coming from Harrisburg (581) is to turn left into Essis and Sons and then turn around and make a right at the next street.
Now onto the main course :)
Juliana's is in one word - incredible. Fresh Italian dishes, great specials, amazing ambiance, and good service. For groups of 4 or more - they offer family style dining where you choose 2 appetizers, main courses, salads, desserts and share. You don't have to worry about running out food - because they'll refill it if you want more of something. That'll run you 24$ per person.
Our group of 8 opted to go it alone (if you do family style dining everyone at the table has to participate). Everyone was thrilled by their dishes and left the restaurant beyond pleased. I had the Lobster Ravioli special and it was indeed the best lobster ravioli I've ever had (and I've tried it at several places).
If you're on a budget - the pizza for one is HUGE. That and a salad would feed 2 people easily. The taste of Juliana's without the big check at the end of the meal. However, I highly recommend the pasta dishes.
The cocktails will run you about 7-9$ each but they're pretty and yummy :). And if you have a big group - don't forget to make a reservation!

I'm a fan of this place. While it is a little pricey the atmosphere is really relaxed and perfect for a nice date. The food and service were very good. The place is a little hard to find as mentioned but it's a high class Italian restaurant.
