I highly recommend going to Judy's Alterations! I have been here in the past and have forgotten the great quality of work and reasonable pricing she does all done in a timely manner. I usually am on a time crunch and she works with me and gets my items done when needed.

There are dressing rooms provided if you need your clothes tailored while you are there, otherwise just bring them to the counter and she will pin it where you need. Great work and highly recommended for any sewing or alterations you may need!

Judy is a very talented seamstress!

In addition to taking care of my family's everyday clothing needs, skirts, pants, tears, etc., she is a creative designer as well!

She transformed my 40 pound High School cotillion dress from 2006 into a super cute and fun, yet elegant, Rehearsal Dinner dress for my 2014 wedding.

She really is amazing at what she does and does incredible at custom work and measurements.

I highly recommend her for any alterations tasks, from simple things like hemming and stitching to completely revamping and upcycling past garments.

Judy does wonders!

Judy and her team have been altering my clothes for the last few years. She always does such a great job with a very fair price.  If you need something quickly she can work with you as well for a small fee.  I've even had her alter an old fur coat for me and she did a great job! I have a sewing machine and dabble in sewing small projects, but when it comes to clothing-i definitely do not trust myself at all.

I love it when you can hardly tell where an item was even altered in the first place.  When we moved houses she also re hemmed all of my drapes to fit the windows on my new house. Amazing!!!

Judy's did a wonderful job altering my wedding gown. She was very reasonable much better than getting it altered at the bridal shop. She took in the sides and added a bustle. I would def. recommend Judy for any of your alteration needs

Their prices have gone up and think expensive for just a basic hem.  You wait a week or more for your items to be ready for pick up (regardless of how many items) and you better pay attention to the time on your receipt because they seem to wait until the last minute to work on your alteration(s).  I'm think I'm going to shop around for a better place.

Judy was simply outstanding. She helped us out with some scout patches that we needed sewn on for the next hours. Very fast and professional. She will definitely get our business in the future.

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE !!!!
Did not expect to pay over $80 for just a few minor alterations. This place is a rip off and I will never be returning to it again. I left felling like I totally got played. On top of the mega overcharge, the time that she completed them was so delayed. They never bother to even call you to let you know WHEN they're ready.

get your quote in writing!!! they altered a bridesmaid dress for me (did do a good job) and the owner verbally told me $60 as I was walking out the door. came back to pick dress up and they wanted to charge $85. they finally said "okay $80". I had no choice but to pay but I won't be giving them my business in the future.

Brought in 2 skirts and pair of pants. Told me two weeks.  When I came back on a Friday they were not ready.  She, apologized, and said they would be ready Saturday.  I went back Monday and only the pants were ready. She quickly did one of the skrts for me at no charge but I left with the other skirt.  Almost three weeks!.  No calls about delays.  Nice people but poorly managed.  She probably spends a lot of time on the phone because people are calling to see if orders are ready. Customers can't rely on them to meet the delivery dates they provide.

Went to Fashion and Tailor on Thunderbird and the skirt was done the next day.

I found Judy's about 6 months ago....I was searching for a good Alteration business to bring my clothes too..I have been to others but never really satisfied with the quality of work....Judy's work is outstanding and I have used them several times in the last 6 months...The normal wait appears to be a week but very well worth the wait.....Great service !!!!! You can try on your clothes and she can take the measurements ,  make the markings & pin up the clothing  in no time....Very Happy with the Work and Service...Thanks Michael

This is my 2nd experience with Judy's.. first time was just okay. I had an evening gown taken in a size - Mission completed - nothing to really impress me.

This time I brought in 3 things to be taken in an 1.5 inch each.

They said it would be over a week to complete... quite long I thought.

I came on the due date and they were not done.

A day later... not done

Two Days later... they search and look and finally find my items...

$41 Dollars!!!

Seems ridiculous for the minor work performed. I wont be back

Judy is amazing! I had a bridesmaid dress with difficult material to hem... Judy made sure that she took in my dress accurately... She was very reliable in price and had everything done on the date promised. I'm glad I found someone who knows what they are doing when it comes to alterations! Can't wait to bring more stuff to her!

I like this place a lot.  They do a good job altering my clothes. I didn't give 5 star because it takes about 1 week for the job.  I'm so used to couple days service back home.

I like her business - local, hard-working women.  Their work is excellent and have never had a problem.  They are always very friendly and kind.  She listens well and does her best to meet your needs.  High quality service with just a team trying to do the best that they can...which they do.  Highly recommend.  Turnover is usually within a week.  However, cash only.

Got some jeans shortened and requested original hem and they turned out perfect! Judy was so nice, helpful and honest about what she could/couldn't do. It was $20 per pair of jeans which seemed a bit high, but I didn't shop around so I am not sure what the going rate is...I am happy with the outcome tho!

Plus, she turned an old dress into a maxi skirt for me for just $18... it turned out great!

I've been using Judy's since 1988, back when she was located on 40th and Thunderbird.  She has always done a good job although her staff can be hit and miss at times.  Fair pricing and turnaround times quoted are a bit long but they will expedite things if you ask.

I found Judy's to be excellent. I decided to take all my alteration needs to her in Scottsdale because no one in Bellevue comes close.

Judy did an amazing job on basically overhauling two designer men's suits for me ( lost  some weight). The cut and the fit stayed consistent with the original design. Third time was a charm as I had tried 2 other alteration places/ tailors who asked for almost 3 times what she charged me. She knows her stuff!  She is a happy person who is always smiling, and that trickles down to her staff of 3 ladies in the back who also seem to be having fun.

Judy does very high quality work, and I'm always pleased with her alterations. However, the other seamstresses are not as highly qualified. If you want something done right, specifically ask that Judy does it herself or you will end up visiting the shop multiple times to get exactly what you want done.

No frills, no nonsense alterations here! Needed a pair of pants hemmed, just 10 bucks! My Wife's hem came loose on a pair of slacks, 4 bucks! Ample parking, on southeast corner of Shea & Scottsdale roads, in the Fresh & Easy center.
