This is not a good place that you want to go if you want to do your work and have a little peace of mind. the internet is shitty where it stops literally like every 5 mins. it stops and you pretty much have to reconnect. The people that run it are unprofessional and this place is highly unrecomended. i got 3 cappuchinas and they all tasted like burnt espresso. dont go there. the family that runs the store are selfish and unfriendly. highly unrecommended got o the three rivers cafe.

JP's is friendly & a great little neighborhood coffee shop. The bagel egg sandwiches are really good, and the coffee is good, too. But mostly I go there for the warm, friendly, neighborhood feeling.

I love this place, I'd much rather go here than Starbucks or Coffee Bean.  I don't buy many fru-fru espressos, usually just regular coffee, so I can't comment on the quality of the drinks, but they always remember me, are super friendly, and the atmosphere is nice (love the artwork on the walls.)  It doesn't hurt that it's within walking distance from my apartment, and right next to the Trader Joe's that I frequent.   The prices aren't outrageous and the bagel I had once was edible :)

Oh and the owner is always happy to give me change for a $20 when I don't have it - even if I'm not buying anything!  And that means a lot!  Usually cashiers want to hold onto those small bills :)

I had been here a couple times before without incident.  Not because the coffee is great, but only because it's close to where I live.  Today I suggested we go there for the convenience factor, and I'm sorry I did.  My girl ordered our 2 iced coffees and the kid began to hand her a coffee with some nasty spooge on the side of the cup.  She pointed this out to him and he simply turned around and dumped the coffee into another cup.  (FYI - He's not just some punk ass hired hand....He's the owner's son.  The family factor is why I liked to support the place).  Anyway, not a high maintenance kinda girl, she just assumed the sludge was on the outside of the cup.  She had drank about a third of the coffee before she started gagging on hair and dirt.  She was pulling nasty looking things out of her mouth, that we're both hoping were of the plant-life variety.  Some of the nastiness looked like it could possibly be in the larvae family.  As she gagged, I dumped out her coffee to examine the nastiness in her cup.  Let's just say, my coffee promptly went down the drain as well.  We will never return here....and neither should you....

i came to this coffee shop in hope that it would be the best coffee shop ever. there is so much noise there and it is very hard to concentrate.  plus, the coffee that i got had a lot of grinds in it. the condiment table was not clean and looked unsanitary do not go there.

MY FAVVVVOOOORIITTEEEEE coffee place! This place has THE best caramel macchiatto. Better than starbucks! The owner is a really nice man and really knows how to make his customers want to come back for more coffee! Not only do they serve great coffee, their customer service is always friendly. The only complaint I have is that his place closes a bit early on weekends. So get there early!

Praise Buddha for JP's Coffee!

I had to scold the employee/manager this morning for being closed yesterday (Memorial Day).  hee hee.

Since our new office move, we've come here every morning for our daily dose of caffeine served with a friendly smile.

This latte gal loves variety, which is one of the many reasons why I adore this place!  They have over a dozen different latte flavors to choose from (iced or hot)  including my favorite - Vanilla Coconut.

Mmmmmmmmmmm coconutty.

They also serve up tea, bagels, sammiches, other healthy munchies, and free wireless. w00h00! A big ol' sofa sits at the entrance for you to relax and Yelp on your laptop if desired.  And they have frequent buyer punch cards - "Buy 10 items & Get 1 Free Drink".  I'm all about those cards, dude.

Kinda on the pricey side.  This morning I paid just under a Franklin for my latte. Okay, more like a Lincoln....  Huh?

Well I might not make it every morning, but when I do - oh goodness, I practically need a cigarette after my first sip...

This is some quality coffee! I've only tried their regular stuff and damn it's good and caffeinated! It reminds me of Peets when I used to live in Northern California. They've got some pastries that sandwiches that I haven't tried but they look yummy! It's a nice stop before or after your Trader Joes shopping.

what a fuckin fabulous world where you can surf porn on the internet, drink some strong ass americanos, smoke massive amounts of cigarettes, and eat a turkey and avocado sandwich all at the same damn time.

i don't necessarily do all those things per SAY...but i know for a fact you can do all these things at JP's and no one will bat a eye.

the drinks are priced about the same as Starbucks or Coffeebean. but instead of a highly trained barista you have this foreign chick who doesn't speak any English looking quizzically at you when you ask for a iced coffee.

me: "You know...cold coffee...the hot stuff...but on ice..."

foreign chick: "Yaw, yue vont a leed?"

me: "no...a COLD COFFEE...(pointing harshly at the iced cups)"

f.c: "OOOH yaw yaw...plasteeeq!!!"
